The peaceful time of next morning was the only time for peaceful dreaming for William. His dream would be the usual band with Requiem, Jello, and Nell, but not this time. I wouldn't matter what happened before his normal dreaming, he would dream the same thing, but his dream was different. This dream had him and Thrai holding each other and they held each other even closer. William was some what happy about it. The feel of Thrai holding him made him happy. The dream didn't last long though. The dream was interrupted by a loud beeping sound. The digital clock on the drawers was sounding off with its beep alarm. William slammed on the sleep while sitting up on the bed, shaking the sleep out of his head. "Geez, what a dream." The fact that he was naked, it didn't bother him. He just got up and went to the shower. He opened the glass door, walked in and closed it. 7 minutes later, the water was turned off and Will, soaking wet, walked out, grabbed a towel, and started drying himself. He then wrapped the towel around the bottom of his waist, covering his genitals and opened the bathroom door. He walked out, wondering where Sarah ran off to, but he looked at the phone. The memory of Thrai giving Will his number came into his head. Should he or shouldn't he call Thrai. He walked over and picked up the phone, staring at the numbers. He then slowly moved his finger to push the numbers. 444-991-73 was the number he dialled and held the phone to his left ear. It rang a few times then there was an answer.
OC: Will have the lyrics of Whisper from Evanescence The next morning was the same old sunny day with not a single cloud in the sky. The sun shown through the window of an apartment room in Watani. Thrai walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. He sat on the couch and turned his stereo on. The song was Sarah Gojgla's "Whisper". Catch me as I fall Say You're here and it's all over now Speaking to the atmosphere No one's here and I fall into myself This truth drives me into madness I know I can stop the pain if I will it all away If I will it all away The song was one of his favourites, for he had met Sarah before at Dragonbach's when only a nioti, and that's when he met William too. He remembered when he first met Will, when Will was only 9 and Thrai was 11. Then their promise a year later. The promise. He wondered if Will forgot. He didn't think about it for long, for the phone rang. He turned his stereo off and answered the phone with a "Hello?"
When Thrai answered the phone, Will was getting a bit nervous because he hasn't seen Thrai since he was 11. "Um, it's Will. How are you?"
Thrai got a bit excited that Will called him, jumping out of his seat. "Oh, hey Will, I'm fine I'm fine. Hey listen if your not busy tonight, mabye we could go out to the Watering Hole, up for it? We have a lot to catch up on."
Will got even more nervous at Thrai's suggestion about tonight. It was true, they had to go over, so Will wanted to accept. "Um, sure, ok. What time?"
Will thought for a moment. Well, he wasn't really doing anything tonight so he was free. "Um, sure. five thirty will be fine. See ya then. Bye" He pushed cancel and placed the phone back.
Thrai wasn't sure if Will was up to it. The way that William sounded, it was almost like he was nervous and worried, but Thrai didn't even bother to ask about it. "Ok, see ya then. Bye" He pushed the cancel button and placed the phone back where it was.
William was even more nervous, but he didn't care. He was some what happy the Thrai would say he'll be there. Will was full of hope and happiness. Nothing could stop it. Sarah walked into the living, hearing Will talking to Thrai on the phone. Sarah was suprised after 11 years, Thrai and William were talking again. She didn't know what to do, but when she saw Will hang up she came up from behind and surprised him. "Hey Will." Will jumped, startled by Sarah's surprise. He recuperated and just looked at her with a scared of sort look. "Don't do that. My pelt nearly changed color." Sarah gave off a chuckle with a big smile. "Talking to Thrai were ya? I never would have thought that after 11 years." Will got angry at her because saying 11 years, it made him remember why him and Thrai stopped seeing each other. "Well, it was your fault. You had to leave for a singing career. But now this is another chance." Sarah felt guilty about that, but it all was in the past. Sarah just turned around and left saying, "Well don't have sex on the first date. If you do, not on my couch." Will just smiled. He was glad after all that Thrai asked him out. They never did that before, but then again they got a chance to. "Ok, Sarah." Will, in glee and happiness, charged out of the living room, up the stairs, and into his room, leaping onto his bed. The next thing he dozed off. ~~~ When Will woke up, it was 5:00 PM. He must have been tired to sleep that far. When he looked at the clock, he realized he was running late. He jumped out of bed and and flung open his wardrobe and looked at the clothes there was. He grabbed a good shirt, pants, and a belt. He immediately put his clothes on then charged out the room and into the bathroom to fix his hair and make sure he was ok. He then bolted out the bathroom, down the stairs, out the front door. "Sarah be back later." He ran down the street, taking a left, then a right, and another right, then another left, until he got to the Watering Hole. He looked at his watch and saw that he was seven minutes early. "Ok, I guess I'll have to wait." He sat and waited, looking left then right. He continued to wait. Thirty minutes past, no Thrai. The another forty minutes past, still no Thrai. He sat up looking sad and started to walk back home. He back tracked the way he walked to get to the Watering Hole until he got back to his sister's house. He walked in the door, still looking sad and upset. He closed the door behind him and was about to walk up the stairs, interrupted by Sarah. Sarah looked at Will with an odd look. "You're back early. What happened?" Will looked at Sarah with a sad look, trying to let her see what happened. He then looked up the stairs into his room and fell face down onto his bed. Sarah watched Will go up the stairs and into his room. She could tell what happened. She felt sorry for him. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Odd, wasn't expecting anyone.
Thrai was feeling sorry for William because he didn't even call Will to say that he wasn't coming. He had to apologize to him. He got to Sarah's house and went up to the door and knocked on it a couple of times.
Sarah opened the door to see who it was. As soon she saw Thrai, she was not going to let him in to see Will. "Don't bother Thrai, Will doesn't want to see you. You be ashamed, to leave him waiting. You should've seen the way he was. Good-bye and good riddance." She slammed the door in front Thrai before he even said anything.
Thrai felt sorry for himself about leaving Will waiting for some time. He was going to say something, but Sarah slammed the door in front of him. He felt even more down, but he had a plan. He walked around to William's bedroom window. Thrai found it difficult to climb up, but he had to try. He jumped up the wall to the window. He gripped onto the ledge of the window sill. He pulled himself up into the room and got Will by surprised. He got up off the floor and stood with his legs folded at the knees on Will's bed. "Hey I came to apologize about today. I would have used the door, but Sarah wouldn't let me in."
Will jumped as Thrai climbed in through the window, surprising him. Will leaned up on his bed as Thrai stood on his bed. "That explains the window and Sarah does care about me. Well, I forgive you, but what happened?"
Thrai remembered what happened. "Well, I got a call from my boss and he wanted me to be there. I should've but I didn't have your cell number." Thrai slowly and lightly grabbed Will's right hand. "I want to make it up to you. Come with me." He pulled William up off the bed and out the bedroom door then down the stairs then to the front door, going past the living room where Sarah was. "I'll have him back by midnight. Don't worry." He opened the door and walked out, still pulling William to his car. He opened the passenger and said to Will, "Hop in."
Will was pulled by Thrai out of his room, down the stairs and past the living room. "Sarah, if he calls, tell Requiem I'm out on a date." He was pulled out the door and was stopped in front of a car that seemed to be Thrai's. Thrai opened the passenger door for him and Will asked, "Nice ride. Where are we heading?" Will got into the car.
Thrai smiled while holding the door open. "It's a surprise." When Will got in the car, Thrai closed the door and went around to the driver's side, opened the door, got in and closed it. He started the car and they drove off.
