Carrying: A little netted sack filled with multi-sized metal spheres. </td></tr></table> <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>In Character</span> <table class='ic'><tr><td> It was a hot sunny day in the courtyard. The sun glinted off of the "marbles" as he found a shady tree to sit under. He walked over to it and had a seat. He wiped some sweat off of his brow and unstringed the bag of marbles. He dumped the contents of the metal spheres onto the shaded grass and concentrated on them. With a wriggle of his paw, one broke free of the ground and began rotating in circles. He brought up another one with a flick as two spheres levitated in midair. He made them crash into each other with small clacking sounds and enjoyed the sight. <span style='color:blue'>...Am I playing or practicing...</span> He began making them do larger loops and throwing them far and bringing them back all using his telekinesis. </td></tr></table>
Julia was skipping across the courtyard in her sun dress and sun hat, holding her ragdoll fren by its little arm in one hand. (Little Zengels her other doll was "sick" so it had to stay in bed). She skipped along happly not seeing the little toy frog coming that was left outside and she tripped on it. She landed with an "oof" and looked around quickly, hoping no one saw that.
Character: Valon Tarod. Wearing: Black tee-shirt, Camo shorts, sneakers. <span style='color:orange'>God it's hot out</span> Valon thought as he walked in the direction of the doors leading out from the courtyard. He was about to open them when something caught his eye. He looked closer there were two marbles looping and racing in the air. Then he noticed who was controling them. It was a 'dragon from one of his telekenisis classes. He was new. <span style='color:orange'>Oh, what's his name again...Jake, James...something like that</span> He thought. Seeing as how he had nothing better to do he walked over to where the other 'dragon was sitting. He leaned against the tree trunk watching silently.
Jyr sat, legs crossed up against the tree as he lifted yet a third, and larger, spherical metal object into the air and grappling it with his mind, now three spheres floated in unison.....and then he felt it - a presence, no - two. One with a feminine mindset and another one masculine... His concentration dropped with the spheres which landed with a soft pat on the ground. He heard the thought scrambling for his name.... <span style='color:orange'> Oh, what's his name again...Jake, James...something like that</span> <span style='color:blue'> Such casual thoughts are easy to read... </span> he thought <span style='color:blue'> "The name is Jyr" </span> he said aloud to Valon who stood next to him.
Julia stood, seeing the orbs flying around..they intrigued her. She skipped over slightly closer, but still a little out of the way, hoping they would fly around again. She gripped Fren tightly. "See that Fren..he was doin magics!" she whispered in the dolls ear. She thought how she could manipulate flames...maybe its the same kind of magic.
<span style='color:orange'>"Right, I forgot you coul' read minds,"</span> Valon said, he was just a bit jealous seeing as he was hopeless at telepathy. He looked out and saw a small 'dragon, no older than seven or eight from what he could see. <span style='color:orange'>"Do you know her?"</span> He asked pointing. OOC: sorry for the crappyness of the post, my brain is mush at the moment
Jyr grinned a little, then seeing the little girl. He could read such a small and undeveloped mind, and he could tell she liked seeing him use his TK. Knowing this, he took the three orbs and made them orbit around her head, some slow and some fast, just to amuse her. <span style='color:blue'>"Yes...That is most people's biggest mistake. It can be good for protection, blackmail, or in...card games..."</span> he said, remembering the times he used to cheat for money.
Julia giggled as she watched the balls float around her head (that sounded odd.... O.O) She danced a abit around them, trying to touch them. Then she got an idea "Watch this" she raised her hand and fire engulfed the balls, not damaging them just enulfed them, glowing a bright blue. She laughed with excitment as the balls of flame flew about.
Jyr grinned at the balls of fire floated around her head ((@_@)). He admired the child's power, perhaps underestimated even. He tossed up three more spheres which began orbiting around her head, totaling six multi-sized spheres, enough to have her own solar system.
Valon laughed despite himself. The child was cute, she seemed harmless at first and then when she engulfed the marbles in fire he realized the magnitude of the understament. <span style='color:orange'>"It's amazing how much power they weild,"</span> He said gesturing in the direction of the girl. <span style='color:orange'>"I have a friend like that, only fourteen and can use electric and pyrokenisis to levetate"</span> He pulled out his bag of marbles that the teacher had given him on his first day. He lay them out in a circle and traced a patern between them, with a sizzling sound a fire elemental came forth from the center of the circle. He used his telekenisis to make the marbles whirl around it almost like an atom. He made them hover in midair about three feet up and over to where the child was dancing.
She made the other orbs become engulfed and tried to push them together with the forces of the fire, she too was now surronded by flames and her doll Fren began to dance while it was engulfed too. No burning, once more...just surrounded. The dall danced upon the single orb as the others danced about her. She smiled and giggled and danced too.
Jyr's grin grew wider and he tossed five more spheres, spreading his power between all eleven. He looked up at the large tree above him and the tree seemed to darken and before he hit the ground it dawned on him - he had exhausted his brain with all of this. As he realized this too late and everything went black as Jyr fell with a thud to the ground. The eleven flaming orbs immediately dropped. He was silent - and unconscious.
Valon ceased the marble's whilring and they dropped to the ground with five soft thuds. <span style='color:orange'>Ooo, that can't be good...it's times like these when telepathy would be useful</span> He though, reminding himself how hopeless he was at telepathy, he could barely recive thoughts.
She frowned and the flames went away, running to the man and crouching. "Is he going to be okay?" she asked nervously.
Jyr could hear muffled voices as he slowly opened his eyes with a release of his breath. He looked at the two of them and rubbed his eyes. He rubbed his eyes and slowly lifted himself up. His head ached, and he pulled a pink and purple pill out of his pack and downed it without question. He sat himself up against the tree and looked at the pair of concerned eyes of the little girl. <span style='color:blue'>"I'll be fine...I just..."</span> he heaved a sigh and put his hand on his forhead <span style='color:blue'>...need a minute..."</span>
Valon looked at the small girl crouching next to Jyr. He noticed that she was clutching a doll. <span style='color:orange'>She's so young</span> he thought <span style='color:orange'>What is she doing here? She should be out with friends at Magi Lake or something</span> He watched as Jyr took the oddly colored pill. <span style='color:orange'>"Ah the wonders of modern healing,"</span> He said and although he wasn't much taller than the girl he bent down just the same and whispered quietly into her ear, <span style='color:orange'>"see he'll be fine, he just used to much magic,"</span>
Jyr's ears perked with a smirk at his comment, he did use too much of his power and he didnt much care either, maybe he was just tired - it was usually only with heavy things that this happened.
She nodded..she was starting to get a headache..but they got less frequent when she used that much power now..she was getting better with her powers and practiced often. She clutched fren and watched the man, sitting down, the hat shadowing her face from the sun. She looked rather cute in that dress. She liked it too..and hse was waiting for a sunny day to wear it. And this day was perfect. She began to make Fren dance again by using the flames and giggled as she did so..but the headache got a little worse and she stopped.
Valon saw her cringe a bit as the flames that had been surrounding her doll, making it dance, disappeared. <span style='color:orange'>"Careful kid, don't wanna end up like our friend Jyr here,"</span> He said, then added <span style='color:orange'>"Those pills aren't very reliable and they can give you a nasty head ache if you take to many or too little,"</span> He smiled warmly in her direction, his green eye glinting in the sun.
<span style='color:blue'>"You must be mistaken,"</span> he said,<span style='color:blue'>"these are pills for my headache. If they can give me a headache then there's a problem, isn't there."</span> Jyr grinned a bit then leaned against the tree to relax.
