Day: 32nd Month: Mia Year: 2nd Night had finally given in to it's adversary, and dawn came a-rollin' in. Â Fingertips of rose curled and spun their way along the treetops, reaching, grabbing, striving to fill the smallest places with their life-giving light. Â Soon, entrances to cave dwellings were a-glow, the sun slowly creeping along to shine, smiling, upon the sleepers within. As the sun's bright rays hit this male's eyes, a small groan of resistance could be heard. Â He never was an early riser, but the night before he deliberately slept where the light would wake him so he wouldn't miss a good day's romp in the jungle. Â He had recently travelled here from afar, and had an idea to forage in the jungle and explore about the place. Â He liked this place so far, and had found a rather spacious, abandonded cave far above the jungle's top. Â As he rose from his nightly slumber, a yawn was emitted from a powerful set of jaws, and muscled legs were stretched to wake him further. Â With those first acts of waking, he clambered down the cliff side to find a small pool of rainwater just a few feet below his 'homes' entrance. Â Grinning to himself, he crouched to take a small drink, and then splashed some sparingly over his face. Â He couldn't help but shiver as the cold water hit his fur, and smile as he shook it off. Â What a morning this would be. Â The second day here, and already he had found a source of water; or at least when it rained. Ghostly pale eyes shifted, searching the area for something to eat. Â Ah, perfect. Â A rather large, plump Inth. Â Those were his favourite meat, often refered to as the "sweet meat" to him. Â He smirked, and slowly crept farther down the cliff side, and finally reaching the jungle floor. Â The thing was facing the other way, so it had no idea it would about to be pounced upon. Â Arehk was a very stealthy hunter, and would rather practice his hunting skills than anything else. Â Oh, and he was a very skilled flirter. ( ) Â Yes, so he crept up on the stupid thing, and when he was close enough to pounce, he did. Â With a silent cackle, he caught the thing him his massive paws, jaws clamping powerfully around it's neck. Â How he loved the thrill of the hunt. Â He kept his jaws locked around the thing's neck, until the Inth went limp. Â Mmmm, food. Â Releasing the dead creature, a particular pink organ protruded from ebon tinctured lips top moisten them, canines shredding the smallish creature in parts. Â Yummeh in my tummeh.. Well, he'd finished his morning meal, and went to find a place to bathe. Â He was a clean freak, at least when it came to his body. Â He was paranoid when it came to smells and body odors. Â BO just wasn't his friend. Â He couldn't stand to be around pendragons who smelled. Â Whew, it irked him. Â A Pet Peeve, you might say. As he was travelling along, he came upon a small waterfall within the jungle, a stream trickled to and from a medium-sized pool in which the water collected. Â He smirked to himself inwardly, and padded forth. Â Unsheathed talons raked at the moist loam around the pool of cool, refreshing water, leaving a sort of signature upon the terra. Â He sniffed first at the water, then briskly stepped into the shallow waters. Â His face lit up as he wadded around, and finally dove under to swim. Â He loved swimming, it was his favourite past time, next to hunting that is.
A silver backed, female pendragon wanders into the jungle are a unsure of what she would find. But the only thing on her mind at the time was to find a quick bite to eat. She creeps along slowly through the jungle floors scanning the area for anything that would be suitable to snack upon. Comes to a small stream that passes through the center of the jungle, stops along side it and lowers beside it. Laps up a bit of water as she sniffs the air, focuses her ears in all directions listening for any type of movement. Her sky blue eyes montior the land slowly.
As he surfaced in the small pool, he looked out where the stream trickled away from him. Â He saw a figure crouched at the bank, lapping at the delectable water. Â It looked female to him, but he was upwind of it, so he couldn't catch it's scent as well as if he could've if he was downwind. Â Well, the creature would catch his scent, if they wanted, and make their way up to him. Â No point in starting a conversation when he wasn't interested. Â Plus, he didn't have time to. Â He wanted to go climb some trees, and perhaps spy on some females bathing in the process. Â What a naughty little boy, this one was. Â Oh yes, very naughty. Lifting himself from the water, he shook his coat dry, spraying water droplets everywhichway. Â He took one last drink of the fresh, cool water of the pool, and then padded a little farther down the streambank, leapt the width of it, and continued on away from the water. Â Reaching a tree a few yards away from the stream, he leapt up onto the lowest branch. Â Searching for a limb sturdy enough to hold him and high enough so he couldn't be seen, but he could see from. Â Ah, perfect.. Â He saw the perfect limb, and he could reach it with two small leaps or one large bound. Â Shrugging, he stretched again, and leapt to the closest limb, and then up again to his destination. Â Yay, now he could spy on the creature below, while he rested cat-like on the limb.
Looks up from the stream and notices the shaking of the tree branches not far from her. Folds her ears back and sniffs the air slowly, gets the scent of the male pendragon and sways her tail a bit unsure of where he be. Lowers back down a bit and licks the surface of the water once more then sits up from it, stands and strolls down the stream towards where the pendragon was earlier. Comes to the pool and smells about it slowly.
Lina was terrified almost out of her wits. How had she come to end up in Watani, the one place above all others that she was striving to avoid? It was all that stupid 'portals fault. Lina was a wanderer, and had chosen the 'random' function in one of the Public Teleportals located at various key locations around the continent. But the damn PT had taken off before she could specify 'anywhere but Watani'. And the PT had chosen to break down just after delivering her. So now she was stuck here until she could find another portal. She knew of a private one of course, in her parents very expensive, very chic home located more or less just around the bend from here, in a populated section of the caves. But her parents' home was the last place she wanted to be. however she was not so scared that she didnt take note of her surroundings. she was hot and sweaty from her walk in the jungle, for altho it mite be winter around here it was still quite warm in the jungle. then again, she had grown up here, so maybe she was just used to it. so she was glad when she came to a stream. she dove in, and after immersing herself and splashing around a bit, she let herself float downstream to where she knew there was a nice little waterfall. Meanwhile, she let the stream take her there, closing her eyes as she thought about her predicament. 00C: dont mind my joining? anyway, the reason she hates watani and her family so much is explained in her profile. its important to her charrie so if shes gona stick around u shud read it...heh.
Glares slightly at the pool then walks into it slowly, shakes her fur as she enters. Kepts her tail above the water as she relaxes against the water edge of the pool, listening to the wind blow and singing of the birds. Notices a faint sound of water being splashed about.
He sat there, on that thick limb, watching the female below him. He knew she had caught his scent, and she'd soon find him. Keen pinnae caught sounds of splashing upstream, and trained eyes followed the sound to it's source. Another female, though this one coming towards the waterfall in the river. Geez, would this world just stop putting conversationalists in his way? Gawd, he hated talking. Ah well, let them find me. Then I'll talk..
Lina, still floating with downstream, only opened her eyes when the currents told her that she was in a pool, an old favorite of hers. Opening her eys, she yelped suddenly as the first thing she saw were pale eyes in a dark blue face.
Looks up to the branches in the tree and glares slightly at the pendragon sitting in it. Smirks and shakes her head, goes back to her swim.

A movement and a ripple of water catch Lina's eye, tearing her gaze away from the multicolored pendragon she had been staring at. Flipping onto her belly again, she turned to look for another source of movement. There. Another pendragon, this one paddling away. Lina studied her for a moment, then turned her attention back to the first pendragon. She cocked her head at him, studying him quizzically for a moment. "I like your earing," she finally said. "The second one down." She paused again, taking in his overall appearance again, before asking "What's your name?"
Day: 35th Month: Mia Year: 2nd A muffled snort escaped warm airways of a feminine creature as she made her way through the warm, golden sunshine that filled every nook and cranny possible.  Darkness had been chased away long ago.  Night had always been her most constant companion.  The moon and stars were always reluctant to critizise those who walked through their pale light, and that's why she preferred it.  However, since coming here she'd found it almost impossible to just make her way through the darkness and had almost painfully given up her constant night time habits to become more a creature of the day though it didn't mean she liked it. Svelte, long form came to an abrupt halt as she happened upon the gathering.  Deep, unearhtly azure chasams took it all in quickly and quietly though a smile embraced sky splashed mawl as she recognized the dark tinted brute sitting nearby.  Slender limbs iridescent with blues against the smoky gray base that enfolded the rest of her frame stretched forward in a walk that brought her closer the masculine. "Hullo Arehk.  Remember me?  Mali?"  She offered forth her nickname once more, ever more letting him know that it was alright to use it and use it freely as long as he did nothing to ruin her reputation.  Not that she had much of one in the first place.  Ah well.  He seemed to have accepted her readily enough. ride.against.the.waves.
A small blue pendragon came upon the small pool and waterfall, it not being far from her home. Her lilac eyes swept the area, and she froze. There were several other pendragons here already. Shy as she was, she crouched in the leaves, prepared to wait for all of them to leave. Her blue fur and wings didn't blend well with the ground, and she knew she would be seen. She crept into a shadow, back against a tree, ears swivelling. Adathiel sat and waited, hoping they would all move out of the jungle soon, so she could be by herself once more.
Gets up out of the pool and shakes water from her fur, shivers a bit and her spikesalong her spine rises and relaxes once more. Smells the air and looks over her shoulder at the blue mound of fur lying there beside a tree, walks over to the mound and notices that it was a pendragon. Reaches her paw over and caresses the back of the pendragon slightly and draws back. "Whatcha doing hidding behide this tree...young one?"

A dark form peers out from under the bushes, watching the scene. Pelt jet black, spikes of a ghostly grey. The same shade of grey spirals up his legs from ankle to knee, intermixing with the black in parts. Eyes of a golden yellow. Surveys the scene calmly. Then steps out from under the bushes cover and slips into the water soundlessly, water up to his chest. He stands about 3 feet high at the shoulder - a large dog. Drinks a bit of the clear river water. Suddenly a grin appears on his face, and, slipping silently out of the water once more, he goes up behind the one who just undentified herself as Mali. A little push, and, op! into the water he pushed her. Â When she surfaced, spluttering, Takron was already in the water, a few feet away from her. "Hello. My name's Takron" he said, grinning at the now drenched pendragon. "I believe you said your name was Mali?" Although not usually a big prankster, Takron did enjoy his occasional pranks. And the sight of so many females prancing around had really been too much for handsome Takron. Cocky, sure of himself, and no innocent, was Takron. He had a cave not too far from here. This pool, among his favorite bathing spots, was more crowded than usualy today. However, he was a social creature, and didn't mind a bit of company. Not that he went in for some of the all-out type of parties some of his neighbors tended to give, but still. Now he looks more closely at the ghostly gray pendragon already paddling in the water, her eyes fixed on a pendragon crouched in a tree. Four earrings. Interesting. Takron has only three in one ear, and one in the other. The ghostly gray pendragon looked slightly familiar though. Maybe she lived roundabouts? ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lina glances at Takron briefly before returning her gze to Arehk. Takron looked a bit familiar. Doubtless he lived near-by and she'd met him at some party before she fled the area. She did grin a bit when Takron pushed Mali in. OOC: Takron doesnt have a profile yet. If he hangs around I'll make one though
The small ghostly grey one, who commented on his earring(second down), asked him his name. Â That was not a good question to ask, but all the same.. Arehk, and that's all you need to know. Â He gave her one of his 'Dont even bother getting angry, its just me' looks, and then continued surveying the area.. As the small grey female presented herself, Arehk's face lit up tremendously. Â He had met her a few days before, and had thoughts about her whereabouts and how she was. Â Ah, now he could talk to her. Â It seemed she was one of the few whom he could stand for long periods of time, and their conversation a couple days back was rather intrigueing. Now, knowing that it was infact truly her, he lifted himself from his tree, and leapt deftly to where they could converse comfortably: below the tree. Â He found a nice spot on a large rock near the water's edge, speckled with the sun's dappled light, where he could actually watch over everyone without having to strain his eyes. Â This was not a position of authority, rather one of comfort. Â He was smiling, and that was an odd feature on this brute. As he finally settled himself on the rock to rest, he gave a gentle yet obvious nod. Â Yes, Mali, I remember you. Â Would you like to come up here and sit with me? Â Now, that was before she was pushed in by some stranger. Â Arehk couldn't stand pendragons who just harassed others for no reason. Â With a soft growl, Arehk was up in a flash, and was nearly at the male's throat before he stopped himself. Â He couldn't act this way around the ladies, and he wanted to impress Mali in some way. Â What was that for, etranger? Seems you have no manners. Â He disliked other males, just because he never got along with them. Â If he found a male he could talk to, and confide in, it would be screwed by some relationship with a girl, or something. Â So, he tended to keep his distance from males around his age. He stood stock still, hackles slightly raised, a growl always in his throat. Â He awaited the male's response, and very impatiently at that.

Takron backed up half a step. "Hey, dude, chill! It was a joke, alright? Man, don't take it so personally!" he said. Normally he wouldnt hesitate to take on another pendragon, but this one was huge. "Besides,", he added pointedly, "It was her I pushed in the water, not you. So what's your problem?" He essayed a hesitant smile. "Just a joke. No offense meant. Peace?" he tried. Man, he was cooked if this fireball didnt back off.
Keen orbs surveyed this male up and down in one swift glance, a snarl still present on his lips. Auds were held nearly flat against his skull, but just up enough so he could hear what he was saying. As soon as that word 'peace' escaped the male's lips, Arehk couldn't help but laugh. This laugh was a deep-throated, almost belly-like laugh. He liked this guy suddenly, cause he knew what would happen if he didn't speak those words. Alright, peace. What's your name, then? I'm Arehk.
Watches from a far as she awaits the female pendragon's answer to her question. Grins and shakes her head a bit.
Adathiel sits up and looks at the female, head cocked slightly to the side. Though she disliked being called 'young', she said nothing about that. She did, though, answer the question addressed to herself. "I'm waiting for some pendragons to clear out a bit so I can have a swim." The housecat-sized pendragon moved refulgent lilac eyes to the scene in the pool. A grin played 'pon her maw momentarily, seeing the one dubbed Mali pushed into the pool. She turned orbs back to the femme after the confrontation between the males, waiting to see if she would reply.
Looks back at her and grins slightly, gets dwon a bit to met level with the small 'dragon. Looks into her eyes and glares slightly. "Well, does that mean that you want us to take our leave of the waterhole?" Flicks the flame on her tail as she waits to hear the 'dragon's reply. Licks her lips and laughs a bit.
