    <b style=color:white>In Character..[/b]

It was quite a night on the beaches of Chafuo; dark, wiindy, unsettling. The ocean was stirring with something sinister, and the dark clouds overhead showed no sign of pleasant weather.

Due to the already raging waters, the urgent splashing and fray of a small, sapphire coloured 'dragon cub went unnoticed. Forepaws were wrapped frightfully around the leg of an old pier that was already rickety, and the extra weight of the distressed youth wasn't helping it. The pier began to sway slowly, breaking the pendragons grip on the leg. He managed to latch on with one paw, but was slowly slipping.

    <b style=color:white>"Halg! Tynayma halg na!"
    "Help! Someone help me!"[/b]

Desperately he cried out, fluidly switching between either dialect. But his prowess of languages would be of no use if he didn't get help soon. He even resorted to using his small ammount of telepathy, praying that someone might hear him and come to the rescue.

    <u style=color:white>{Someone.. please help..}[/u]

He was fading, and the only thing keeping him hanging on was fear of what might happen if he let go. Who knew what sort of terrible creatures lurked in these waters?</font>

  2. <font color='#CCCCCC'>Mist was walking around when she heard a faint but terrified
call for help. Knowing some was in need of help she went off running towards the voice.
    <font color="CCCCFF">{Hold on. IÂ’m comming}</font> She sent.
Mist didnÂ’t see the pendragon cub but could sense him. She kept running. Then see saw the cub, holding on for itÂ’s life.
    <font color="CCCCFF">{Hold on. IÂ’m almost there.}</font></font>

  3. <font color='#FFFFFF'><font size="1"><font face="verdana"><font color="cornflowerblue">

    "Hylp ym, iyomd yma!"
    "Hold on, young one!"

Came the consoling call of another Pendragon. Lithe, raven form agilely crossed the snapping planks of the pier, occasionally losing balance herself. Plumed tassel banded by a single piece of golden craftwork wavered to and fro without endeavor, as femora closed toward the end of the pier. Desperately she contemplated on what she could do - yes, she herself could swim, and she thought herself mighty good at it. But she, let alone the pup had little chance of surviving in the gale weather if entering the water itself. With pieces snapping away from the pier with every second that passed by, the female had no other alternative - primarily because the woodwork beneath her tore away, soon finding herself clinging to the same post as the young one. She spoke to the other above, between her inhales of breath - a swift movement of her crania sending her ivory and pale azure streaked locks out of her eyesight.

    "Hello up there?"

She desperately called, ebony talons protruding into the bark, also trying to snatch ahold of the pup.

    ooc| err..eep.</font>

  4. <font color='#CCCCCC'>Hold on, IÂ’ll be right there
Mist came running around to the pier. Looking every where for sometime to use. Mist was use to the wind she was thinking of flying out but she couldn’t risk it. Then she saw a vine coming out of the woods behind her. She used her  telekinesis to bring it beside the two.
{Take hold. I will try to pull you both up.}</font>

  5. <font color='#A255'>Away, on the beach, sat a perfectly calm male. He watched them through completely opaque sunglasses, despite the time of day, and occasionally glanced downwards to stare at the water lapping up at his toes. Hype often spent time on Chafuo- it was a tourist magnet and quite the nostalgic location, at least for him. Just the sight of the coastline brought fond memories of his earlier days, when he would set up a small booth and invite unknowing pendragons to come and guess what shell the pebble lay under after he pulled the switcharoo - for a fee, of course. It was all about surviving back then, and what a pitiful lier he was, if he remembered correctly. Unfortunatly, his 'wonder years' had never been spent playing beachball or chasing seagulls or collecting seashells.

Indeed, when was the last time he had simply relaxed like this? It seemed an eternity ago. Yet there was always something so utterly boring in the otherwise refreshing pastime known as 'recreation'. And so, when the nioti's cries reached his ears, the male's attention had been quickly diverted. He watched now, as not one but two ran to the lad's rescue- heh, the ridiulous things people could do to be called a good person. Judging from the cries of 'young one', they didn't even know him.

Hype hoped that the kid would drown. Or even better, a cruorc or orinc might come up and take a bite off of him, wouldn't that be a sight. This place needed a tad more excitement.</font>

  6. <font color='cornflowerblue'><font color="dodgerblue"><font face="verdana"><font size="1">

    "Please, hurry."

Called the female, forepaw finally able to grasp ahold of the pup. She brought him upwards, arm around his chest, making sure she didn't drop him. She clung to the wooden post with one paw, gaze diverted upwards.

    "Alright, lower it down!"</font>

  7. <font color='deepskyblue'><center>The moon was high overhead now, vividly illuminating the small, thrashing figure. He had heard voices, he knew he did, he just couildn't place what they were saying. Lifting his head he shouted again, only hoping it wouldn't alert some sort of cannibalistic 'dragon of his presence.

    <b style=color:white>"Et umirypi shaja...?"[/b]

His cries were drowned out - no pun intended - by the waves crashing against the shore. Managing to pull himself higher up onto the leg of the pier, he hung for dear life, tail almost yanked clear off by the water.

The approaching paw was a sign of hope and the cub eagerly grabbed on, digging tiny talons into it. His eyes were shut tight, slightly fearing that if he dared open them he would find the helping paw was just a daydream and he was just clinging to the pier again.</font>

  8. <font color='#CCCCCC'>Mist lowered the wine down towards the other pendragon and cub. She got the wine to rap around the others chest. Then she grabbed on the the wine with her paw and pulled with all her force.</font>

  9. <font color='#A255'>Hype looked almost disappointed as he watched her lower down the vine. Then again, how much weight could one of those hold?  Shrugging, he rose to his feet, and, after stretching briefly, sauntered off towards the pier. He took his time, leaping swiftly onto the rickety wood, breaking into a yawn, then walking slowly towards the group. "Hello," he mentioned towards Mist, then, reclining on stippled haunches, he peered over the edge at the saver and savee below.

"Having fun?" he inquired of them, all the while examining his claws idly.</font>

  10. <font color='#A9BBBB'><p align=right>The still, almost lifeless form of Yankee O'Driscoll was latched onto the vine, shivering violently. An attempt to climb up the length of the vine proved successful, and he was soon collapsed in a heap on the pier, gasping for air.

    <b style=color:deepskyblue>"Th-thank.. you.."[/b]

    <b style=color:white>ooc;[/b] short.. mmr.</font>

  11. <font color='#CCCCCC'>Mist looked up at the other pendragon that seemed disappointed that nothing more exciting happened. When he just sat there and said hello made her a little mad. But Mist wasnÂ’t one to let her feelings show.
      "Ya, having a great time."
She said it with a little a bit of annoyance. Once the cub was up Mist finished pulling up the other pendragon.
Mist looked over the cub who was gasping for air but seemed okay. Then turn to the pendragon who helped save the cub.
     "Are you okay?"
    She asked.</font>

  12. <font color='#CCCCCC'>Before even waited for an answer Mist nodded to them all and started to walk away. She hoped that they would be okay and wouldn’t mind her leaving. She was never to good around other ‘dragons but also couldn’t leave the cub there without helping him.

She turned and walked back into the woods the way she came hoping to get back to the Academy before much longer. She had some studying to do.

OOC: It doesnÂ’t look like any one is posting here so IÂ’m just going to leave. Hope you donÂ’t mind.</font>
