Out of Character

Dyo 15/79

A small figure escaped through a side door from it's classroom as the bell rang. It sighed with relief as she had escaped without an injury this time. No injuries from the cryokenisis class, and from being stepped on. The aqua scaled feydragon walked to the corner of the courtyard, avoiding others and holding the class books. The faydragon sat down by a tree. She heeved a sigh when she let her book fall from her hands onto the ground beside her. she looked at her bandaged hands and unwrapped them. They still hurt from the past mistakes at practicing her cryokenisis. She shook her head and sat back against the tree's trunk. Oh Femp! Why do I have to suck at cryokenisis so badly... It's my only talent... Besides singing... Singing is the ONLY thing i'm good at... She grumbled and layed out her two foot long body, with her head laying on her overloaded backpack. Her crystal like insect wings fluttered as she settled down. The sun shone through them and cast multi colors on the grass. Her mettalic silver eyes faded slightly as she closed her eyes. She was considered a mutant, by her own kind, for her tail flame. It matched her eyes... If you could see it. It is invisible to the naked eye, but if anyone were to have any spiritual powers and such, they could see its mettalic silver glow. Her tattoo is the same way as her flame. It is an ice diamond, to represent the diety she follows. She is a follower of Tejas, The diety of ice and water. Her hair (wich matched her eyes and flame) swayed infront of her face as a strong wind blew. She sneezed as her hair tickled her nose.
Xavier dropped out of the tree, hanging upside down by a thread, it seemed. He was actually hanging on via a thick rope he was using in his makeshift hammock, a hammock carefully concealed in the tree so no nosy teachers forced him back to class. He had been snozzing all day until this feydragon woke him up. He swayed a little in front of her, staring at her with pupiless white eyes. Boo! He suddenly shouted, in an attempt to scare the little creature half to death...
Femp's fur stood on end as she jumped back on all fours... growling. Her wings outstretched and her ears bent back against her head. Yes, She was freaked. She didn't realise that anyone was there. Most of the time she was pretty keen on these things. Maybe it was just her classes. She looked at the creature that scared her. Her straight silver eyes glaired at him for a split second. Hey! What do you think you're doing?! ...Scaring me like that... She raised a brow at him and sat back on her haunch, waiting for a reply from the stranger.
Xavier grinned. I was thinking you woke me up from my carefully hidden skipper's lounge. And you deserved a good scare for it. Now scram goodie goodie! He would have normally cursed, but guessing he was dealing with just a kid, he decided to take a lighter approach. He swayed, still staring at her, before flipping back up into his hammock, and pulling up the rope. He thought he had got his message across loud and clear, and leaned back to try and catch a few more z's before he would go back to his dorm, where his brother would "think" he had returned from a day of classes...
Femp got up on her feet and growled at him. She grinded her teeth. She knew he thought she was just a kid and she wanted to say something back at him. But coming up with come backs weren't her strong suite. She smirked at him and raised a paw and pointed at his form through the hammock. Before you judge someone by their apearence... Try asking about them first you idiot! FREEZE! She let ice form on the bottom of the hammock, right where the 'dragon's rear should be. She smirked at it frozen hammock and wished it would snap and let the 'dragon fall to the ground... where she'd be waiting to tell him a few things! she hated being thought off as a child... Her wish came true as the makeshift hammock snapped from his weight almost imediatly after her power had stopped freezing the rope. She walked up to his body that had fallen to the ground. She put one foot on his stomach and grined evily down at him. I am NOT a goodie good... and i'm NOT a child!
He grunted, and with one hand, grabbed her foot and drug her to the ground. He flipped up and it has his turn to glare down at her. Listen kid, I'm sure you "think" you're all high and mighty now that you're in school, but I'm a "Bad" guy, and you don't wanna be seen mingling with me, so go run off to your mummy and let me fix my hammock that you just BROKE. He gave her a light kick in the ribs as payback, and leaned against the tree, checking his metal replacement claws. Come on kiddie, I don't have all day! He muttered under his breath...
She gritted her teeth in disgust. Stupid bastard... she mumbled. She clutched her ribs and then gathered up her courage. She stormed up to him and lifted herself from the ground with her wings, so that she would be face to face with him. Yo! Have you ever heard of a Feydragon?! I'm f**king 17 years old! I'm a Feydragon you bastard! She galred at him with her silver eyes. I don't give a damn if you ARE a "bad" guy! You were the one who decided to get involved with me, so if you're going to tell me not to get involved its not my fault! She dropped to the ground and picked up her "Aprentice" Cryokenisis books and looked at him with a hurt look. She wished people would just apologise... and not be a smart ass.
Xavier took a step back. Obvious to him, he had just screwed up. Errr.... He stalled for a moment, before leaning down and helping her pick up her books. Sorry... He muttered, cursing his stupidity, not only would this girl be likely to tell, but it would reveal to the faculty and his brother that he had skipped class all day! Really sorry... He muttered again, and kicked the ground, embarassed...
She smirked slightly and turned around to face him. He DID seem sorry... It's alright. I'm just satisfied that you apologised... you don't know how much it hurts for someone to think you a child and not take you seriously... Her tail flicked back and foreth and her tail flame brightened up, for those who could see it. It always made her feel better if the person acknowladged her as an adult afterwords. And don't worry about me telling you skipped... She winked at him and accepted the books from him. I have a harder time than most reaching most of my classes. So... if i don't make it to them... I don't go. There's no point in getting to the class late and having to put up with the teachers lectures right?
Xavier grinned, this girl had an additude that matched his in some strange way. Thanks...Errr, whats yer name again? He grinned, knowing that he hadn't heard it anyways, but asking would be a nice touch to futher help her anger dissapate and give him a better chance to escape this little incident unscathed. Xavier Galdon, at your service. He explained, and bowed formally, finishing with a twirl and a swish of his claws...
She inwardly chuckled at his elagant bow. She did a screwed up curtsy and said, Femp... Femp Gala... Nice to meet you Xavier. She stood up and embarasly and chuckled at herself. She set her books down as the bell rang. All the students rushed inside as they had a few minutes to get to their classes. Femp shrugged and sat down under the tree once more. Well... There's no point in trying to get in... I'd get trampled for sure... She looked at Xavier from her seat. You mind if i stay here for this class? She hoped he woulnd't mind. She only had a few friends and they all wen't into their classes...
Xavier smiled. Not at all... Femp... He caught himself before he called her 'kid' again. He scampered up the tree, and a few moments later, a makeshift rope ladder was dropped to the ground. Come on up, I've rigged a hammock up for ya...
She smirked at him... knowing he was about to call her "kid" again. She chuckled mentaly and watched as he clambered up the trees base into the camoflaged area he had been in when she first came. She looked up at him questionably and made a noise to match when he told her to come up. She jumped onto the tree trunk and clambered up like a lizard would do on earth. Her tail followed behing her in a wavy form as it kept her ballance. She drew herself up with some help from her wings and plopped herself in the middle of two large branches, extending either way. She sat in the crevice and looked for Xavier.
Xavier dropped down from a rope again in her face. Stubborn aren't you? I'm hanging out at the very top, where I can see everything... He clambered back up the rope, to a small bundle of ropes tied together into a hammock rope platform one might see at a playground. He plopped himself down on this, which rested near the very top, so close to the edge of the leaves, that if one stood up, they could reach out of the leafy bundle that made up the top of the tree and look out everywhere for almost a mile. It was the biggest tree in the courtyard...
She growled slightly at him. She smirked and spread her wings. She flew up to the top of the tree and looked out from the leaves. Her wieght bent the limb only slightly as she clambered on it, looking out over the courtyard. Wow... No one would even see you unless they came a sat down beneath the tree like I did... She came back down and found the other hammaock that he had mention. She dropped, light as a feather onto it. She layed back and sighed.
Xavier grinned. Exactly... So Femp, what brings you to this hellhole of a school? Or so I think... He shifted, putting his arms behind his head and then relaxing and closing his eyes. Please don't tell me it's to learn something...
Well isn't that what school is for? She chuckled and shook her head. She hated school as well... But she had to have practice in her talents... And she NEEDED practice in Cryokenisis... She had to learn to use it, before it used her. She had seen a few people, in her old clan, have their powers use them instead of the other way around. Well... I really wanted to get away from being isolated... well... it wasn't that big of a step... Here i'd say is almost as bad as being back home... Oh well, at least I get to meet people other than those who lived in my clan. She glanced over at him a couple times while talking. She turned over and faced him. Why did you come here? If you're just going to skip classes? I mean whats the point?
Xavier opened one eye and gave her a sour enough look to curdle milk. Wasn't my choice really, I was happy, hanging out with my brother, doing jobs for money, living free, and then he got this crazy notion that we should go to school and get REAL careers! He might be the scholarly type, but I'm a guy of action! He leaped up onto the highest branch up, and struck a heroic pose, before a large 'CRACK' was heard. He gulped, and then fell, carttonlike, as the branch gave way beneath him, sending him falling towards the ground...
Femp laughed histeracally at his heroic pose. She winced when she heard him hit the ground. She laughed even harder with tears in her eyes. She looked over her hammock and still laughing, said, You alright?! She tryed to hold back her laughter, trying to styffle a laugh was as hard as freezing a wild animal for her. She stummbled off her perch and fell onto his form on the ground. She was still laughing as she layed a hand on him. Her chuckles subsided as she didn't hear a responce. She didn't know where she was... all she knew was that she was under the tree and on Xavier. You okay... OOC: MUAHAHAHAA! Let your imagination do the rest ^0^
Out of Character

Well, you certainly took this is a strange direction... -_- <_<

Xavier awoke with a start to the image of Femp on top of him. He jumped up, throwing Femp off of him, and then fainted again. A few second later, and he was standing up yet again. What happened? Did We?... His eye twitched, although he had a strange feeling in his gut that he couldn't remember having before. "Probably just something part of the injury?" He thought, and hoped, but he knew the thing he dreaded most had come upon him...
