Out of character. Six AM, Dyo, 81380. For all ages. In character. A cool, crisp wind swirled around the buildings of Janarden. It was early, around six in the morning. The eerie light created an atmosphere much like one gained around the time of dusk. Though the shards of light threatening to peep over the horizon clearly spoke of a new day, not an end to the last. Droplets of dew clung to the emerald strands of grass for dear life as unfamiliar foot-paws sought their way along the courtyard edge. Manko was deathly quiet, she moved with the agility and grace obtained from many years of dancing. With only a small scrap of material slung over her shoulder containing her most precious belongings, she could be mistaken for an early riser, eager to get to class. Yet the reality of the situation was quite different. Manko, the tiny, pale figure stalking across the lawns, was seeking refuge. She hoped, prayed, that she could simply blend into what she had researched as the best school around. Maybe even sneak into a few classes, sheÂ’d never been taught before, only taught herself. Coming to an abrupt halt, Manko found herself positioned below a magnificent oak tree, its arms seemed to reach for miles around, beckoning the many unidentified [to herself] creatures to its tender embrace. How could she resist? Reaching down to grasp the silken material, Manko soon had her skirt wrapped into what looked more like a haphazard pair of shorts, much better for climbing. Without so much as a moment of hesitation, the feline like figure had glided up the side of the tree, reaching for the lowest branch that could hold her weight with sharp-ended digits. Once settled upon said outstretched arm, Manko snuggled up to the trunk of the tree, whispering sweet nothings. She was clearly intact with nature. Yet a whispered conversation with the soul of a wise oak was not what she needed. What she needed was a place to sleep, something to eat, some new clothes. She wasnÂ’t very sure of the attire of the school, or even if there was a uniform. Thoughts swirled among MankoÂ’s mind, crashing into each other, evolving into newer and bigger problems. The buzz of her brain soon subsided though. The journey she had taken, solely on foot, was taking a toll on her small, emancipated body. No matter how many times she blinked those bright, wide eyes, shook herself or slapped her own cool cheek, she simply could not stay awake. So there she slept, alone but for the comforting oak tree holding her tenderly in its warm embrace, her few, measly belongings clasped tightly in her lap as she dozed. It was the start of a new day, a new life. Though already riddled with troubles, she knew it had to be better than the last.
OOC: Joinin, pretty sure it's okay hehhee Who: Sukara Rlyttyn (Beped, wearing loose short brown skirt and light pink spaghetti strap tank top) IC: Sukara stood along the grounds, waiting for an old friend who happened to be educated here to come meet her. She was merely visiting, for she hadn't seen this person in quite a long time. Her friend hadn't shown up yet and Sukara was starting to become quite bored. She sighed, wondering what she could do to kill time, rather then just leaning against a tree and doing nothing. As a dancer, she had to keep moving. She listened intently to the wind and tapped her foot to the sound of it. Soon, she was doing a quick dance, which simply illustrated her boredom. Two steps to the right, one to the left, one back, spin, reverse and repeat. Until, at about the third spin, she lost her footing and fell back, hitting her head on a tree. "OUCH!" she said loudly, rubbing the back of her head. "Ooo, I'm going to feel THAT tomorrow" She stood up, already beginning to feel the headache come on.
Tyn had made a bet with some of kids from the tactics class that he could outfly their arrows from their recent lessons about anti-air in ancient times. Luckly, his large wings made him soar signifcantly high and fast out of their way for 10 minutes before they gave up, knowing they could never hit Tyn Tyn. Gracefully he flew about in the earlier morning, singing a soft, happy song about how he loved his girl and such. It was such a lovley song, and he sang it with such grace, till he flew right into some bird. The creature sqwuaked angerly at him and flew on. Embarrassed, Tyn flew down to the ground and flopped out on the grass near the two thills. His brown overalls hugged his skinny body tightly along with the white undershirt he had.
<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class='ooc'><tr><td>Who:Ceru Wearing:Magenta shirt, and baggy blue pants</td></tr></table> Ceru had been using the bird as a toy, seeing how long she could keep it's time frozen. Then Tyn flew into it. She lost her gripon it's time flow and it flew away. She looked down, out of the tree at Tyn and the other two thills. She was shocked at how fast they showed up around the tree, she had seen Surkara hit her head and felt bad for her. Her two wings fluttered like weak leaves in the winds as she hung from her legs to get a better look at everything. She felt oddly social around these 'dragons. She looked at all of them carefully, making sure there wasn't anything that needed helping, such as cuts, or a cough, or something. She tapped one of Surkara's ears, "<span style='color:pink'>I have a bottle of headache relievers if you want a pill.</span>" she said grabbing a bag that was hanging down and pulled out a green bottle. She felts her legs weaken, she couldn't hold on for much longer, so she wrapped her tail around the branch so she could continue hanging.
Sukara felt the tap on her ear, but had a slightly hard time hearing the other. Although she knew what was trying to be said. Who could blame her for not understanding, after all, she WAS seeing stars at the moment. Her ear twitched, and she looked up at the older female and smiled. "Oh, I'm alright, really, mmmyes." She said "Just a little bump on the head. Happens all the time heh heh" She smiled in that rare friendly way for her. She hardly ever felt a need to smile for people.
Sheer fatigue had sent the small figure into a deep sleep, though her clawed digits still clasped the frayed lump of material guarding her few possessions, she was dead to the world. The goings on around her at such an early time of day would have astounded her if she had been awake. HadnÂ’t she promised herself, if she ever had the luxury that sheÂ’d let herself lie for as long as her schedule would permit? Well, they did say that the early bird would catch the worm. And it seemed a few of JanardanÂ’s residents lived by that rule. Though the commotions of bumped heads and fly-ins with controlled birds went on around her, Manko slept. Yet if she were roused, the amount of magic going on would surely catch her attention. She hadnÂ’t witnessed much magic in her last home, only a tad bit for the general chores. Though she may have slept through the mere presence of the others, her senses came to attention when conversation was introduced into the equation. What was that? Headache pills? Was she going mad? Manko had to shake her head a few times before she fully came round, but when she did, she was terrified at what she saw. Get your head together, she told herself sternly, crouching as close as possible to the tree trunk, hoping the leaves would camouflage her as dawn spread over the courtyard. This was exactly what she didnÂ’t need, yet if she was to be noticed she would need to act normal. A million excuses flew through her jumbled mind. Say sheÂ’d been locked out of her dorm? That sounded like a good idea.
Ceru shrugged, which is hard to do upsidedown, and pulled herself up on the branch and took a nap, or so that's what she ment to do, as soon as the musclesin her tail tightend the branch broke, not fully, but just enought to send her sliding off of it. She landed with a thud on the grass. Dazed she tried to stand, but just sat down again, he left leg hurting. She panickedthinking it was broken, and jumped up. As soon as she did all chaos broke loose. She fell on top of Surkara, she jumped up of of her and stepped on Tyn as she stumbled foward, leg still hurting real bad, and ended when she fell on top of Manko. She rolledoff of Manko and said "<span style='color:pink'>Did I hurt you?</span>" She looked at Manko to make sure, picked up her arms, bent her knees, tried everything to make sure she didn't hurt her.
Tyn yelped surprised at being stepped on by the 'dragon. He stood up, laughing slightly. "Watch where your going, okay" he stretched his oversized wings abit before walking closer to the comtions "Everybody alright?" ooc: short post! Woot!
Sukara blinked, slightly dazed at what had all happened so fast. "Oh my GOSH" She said, staring around at the people. Didn't they know proper poise? She shifted her weight so she was sitting upright, legs under her body and hangs on either side. She watched them, slightly surprised at the way they were so disorganized. "Oi"
