OOC: Chars: Dryke and Skye This is where they first meet... Timestamp Mia 81382 (a few years ahead :D) midday IC: Finally, here I am at the famous Nyonge Mountain Range Thought Skye sarcasitcally. Honestly the mountains were the same as any mountain, perhaps a little colder and harder to get to the top of, but still they weren't that special. Skye had heard once when walking in the Black Market, a crazy old 'dragon screaming at others passing that the Nyonge Mountain Range was where fate made its mark, but Skye doubted that. Skye had already flown around for quite some time, looking for something worthwhile so instead of rising into the sky she merely laid down and looked up at it and the tips of the mountains. She was a black speck on the white ground. *~*~*~*~*~* Dryke had only just come to the Mountaing Range. It hadn't been his planned destination but that was where he ended up. He was flying through the air wondering what everyone was talking about when they talked about this place. He didn't think it so beautiful. As he flew he did a few simple dives, practicing. At one point he did a large dive and began to soar towards the ground and it would have turned out a perfect dive if he hadn;t noticed the black dot below him. It was another 'dragon, with pelt as black as night. Could it be? Am I just imagining it? Dryke soared down as fast he could and landed strangely gracefully for someone so large. He landed right next to the 'dragon who like him had large feather wings and bright green eyes that stood out against the black fur. As Skye watched the Skye she suddenly noticed a large black dot soaring towards her. She at first thought it was some kind of mutated meteor. But then she realized it was another 'dragon. She moved to the side trying to get away6 from this animal. The 'dragon hesitated a moment and then continued with its dive and landed next to her in an almost perfect landing. Skye was amazed. The male looked exactly like her. Green eyes, black pelt large feather wings. <font color="blue"> Who are you? </font> She asked. <font color="green"> I'm Dryke. And you're Skye. Skye Marquette. So its true...</font> What was this nutthead babbling on about? Skye thought. And how does he know my name? <font color="green">I can't explain it all now but I was told that one day I would meet someone just like me, yet different. I don't usually believe in that kind of crap but...now maybe I will. </font> Skye looked at Dryke dumbly. He was insane! Maybe it was sttrange that they looked alike but fate?! Skye was just about to say something when Dryke spoke again. <font color="green"> I was told that I was to meet you near mountains though I didn't know which ones. It's exactly like what they said...except there was supposed to be other here too...</font> Dryke knew he sounded odd, even to himself. He sounded like a child and not the grumpy tough guy he was but he didn't care. He couldn't believe or fully understand what was going on. But where were the 'others' that he was told about? After a moment Skye felt herself being sucked into this insanity. She began to remember things, how her parents had always said that she was different yet still the same, the same to one person alone. How she had always wondered why sometimes she would come into a room where her parents were and they would suddenly stop talking. Skye thought again about what Dryke had said...maybe he was telling the truth...maybe there was something more to this meeting...but where were the other 'dragons that he had spoke of? OOC: SO SRY that the post is so choppy and quick yet still really long.
