Out of Character: Timestamp: 30- Tria - 81379 (early afternoon) Character: Char Location: Dormatory # 4749 In Character: Char made his way through the narrow dormitory halls brisk and noiselessly, with a definate purpose in his stride. The close quarters channeling him past long rows of doors deeper and deeper underground was somewhat unsettling, as he was a pendragon used to vast open waters and large expances of wild terrian. With his large canvas bag slung over his shoulder and a tiny yellow slip of paper in one paw, he eventually navigated his way to room #4749. There was no hesitation as he pushed the door open to reveal his new living quarters; he simply flung his bag into the centre of the floor and let out a less-than-enthusiastic yawn that lingered in his throat for a time as a low rumble. The room was small and looked and the thin film of dust that coated the surfaces of his dresser made the place look as though it had not been lived in for some time. This was definitely not the mossy nest he shared with his seven boisterous siblings back home, but he imagined that adjusting to a bed to himself would be no hard feat at all. He thought this over, a small grin playing one side of his maw. But alone time would be saved for later, Char decided, as he took a pace back to the door to hopefully discover other life existing on this quiet floor.
Kien was looking for her friend's dorm. She'd pestered Juem many times to let her know his dorm number in-case under circumstances, she needed something. She'd noticed Juem seemed a little relunctant but he gave her a piece of papers with digits on it anyway. So holding the little piece of paper, Kien padded along the hallway passing the many doors. Finally, she stopped at the dorm number 4749. Shoving the paper into her pocket with her right, she knocked the door with her left. Thinking she can get things done quick, she patiently waited either for Juem to roll out of his bed or get out from whatever he was doing and help her.
Char drew his head back somewhat shocked that it didn’t sound like he’d have to go far to find someone. Before reaching for the door’s handle, he did a clean sweep of his lower jaw just to be sure that his shave felt even (he had let it grow to quite a grizzly length until just a day ago), then opened the door with a good natured smile. The male had to bring his gaze down to the ebony female at his door. In a less then perfect sync, Char’s ears swiveled upwards in a cool but still alert manner. He had never seen nor scented this particular pendragon before and figured that she must be a neighbor either swinging by for an introduction or to scold him for the racket he caused by pitching his heavy bag across the room. Cocking his head to the side he rested a palm on the frame of his door, strummed his claws on the wood once in a quick sequence, and introduced himself, “Hey there, Char at your service." He attempted to meet her eyes, “What can I do for you, eh?"
The door opened and a tall pendragon stepped into view. It was certaintly not Juem. Weird, Juem never mentioned anything about having a roommate. Trying to peep into the dorm beyond the tall male, she asked uncertaintly, Err... Is Juem around? She stopped peeping as she was unsuccesfull to see anything because she was shorter than him. She studied the male quickly as she waited for his reply. He wasn't bad looking. Quite extraordinary. Maybe she could go out get coffee with Juem's roommate someday. That is if Juem didn't purposely give her the wrong dorm number. Just as that thought entered her mind, she could already feel her cheeks burning. Knowing Juem, this was excactly what it must be. Please tell me you have a roommate... she muttered.
