Vex's colorful self stood out conspiciously against all the none rainbow colored dragons. Walking up and down the pier she snorted. She was bored out of her mind. Perhaps she should cop someones stuff from them, that would certainly be exciting. The sun hit her head on and the rays were welcoming and caused her to halt. Closing her eyes and crossing her arms across her chest, she soaked up the lavish rays.
Gavan was striding down the pier. He knelt near the edge and looked into the water, it looked so calm. Then, a giant fish lept out and almost bit off his nose, 'cept fpr the fact he had lept back. Knocking into someone he looked up, he saw Vex. "<span style='color:green'>Hi there, long time no see.</span>" he said in a partly bored tone.
She growled at him for ruining her splendid time in the sun. Rolling her eyes she snapped at him. Yea...I wasn't exactly hoping to find you here, but I guess fate has a different plan huh? She smirked and flicked his nose, doing the half arse job of the fish. Laughing she dangled her feet over the pier, just daring any fish to try to snatch away one of her toes.
He chuckled "<span style='color:green'>Yeah, I guess</span>" He looked into the water from over her shoulders. Halfway tempted to push her in, he backed away, and shoved her in with a foot. He chuckled, and, he found it quite funny.
Vex didn't have time to scream in protest, because by that time she felt the cold splash of water against her skin. Coming up for air she looked up at Gavan dangerously and laughed, of course it was that kind of ha ha ha that was slow and not funny at all. Jumping out of the water she landed on the pier again, and shook herself like a dog. Like that huh? Then flying again, she hovered over him and kicked him in the upper back. Do unto others as you have them do unto you.
-He fell into the water with a heavy splash. Using his wings to help float to the surface he spat out water and just began to laugh. "<span style='color:green'>That was different.</span>" he said pulling himself out, and sat down, looking somewhat, dumbfounded.
She pointed at him, laughing and clapping excitedly. She couldn't resist it and just had to push him into the liquid again. This time though she pulled herself into a warm current, floating for a moment and then dive bombed elegantly into the water. Having fun yet?
"<span style='color:green'>I guess you could call it that</span>" he said. He shoved her underwater. He let go and began to swim away. Soon swimming back when the same giant fish was chasing him.
She bubbled happily underwater, having been shoved there just before she wanted to talk. Watching him swim away from a fish, she laughed and splashed the water. Perhaps we should get out...the fish looks scary. Managing to shove herself out of the water somehow, she landed again on the pier and smiled. Her purple hair clinging to her and her vulptous body glistening in the sun. When is this kid gonna be a man...geez.
He held the fish in her face. It was at least 5 feet long and 6 feet wide. "<span style='color:green'>You'd be afraid too, look at this</span>" he held up his other arm, it was covered in bite marks. He dropped the fish back in the water he sat down next to her.
Not at all amused by the fish, she made a face that was only reinforced by the gashing bitemarks. Nice, real nice. As he sat next to her she smiled weakly and played with her toes. It was like some scene from a movie,except this was reality.
"<span style='color:green'>Why is it that I always get hurt?</span>" he thought to himself. Then, sitting where someone could hook thier boat he said "<span style='color:green'>Why are you here Vex?</span>" he didn't want to sound rude, he just wanted to know why.
She looked up, realizing he didn't mean to be offensive. Its relaxing...the water I mean. I remember it from when I was a child... Vex smiled and twirled a lock of colorful hair and looked at him as if to ask the same.
"<span style='color:green'>I go nowhere in particular, I just go</span>"He said. He found a first aid kit lying on the dock. He opend it and pulled out some bandaged\s for his arm. He winced as he wrapped his arm, it hurt.
She grabbed his bandages and helped him wrap his arm. Does it hurt much? She winced for him, and for once in her life Vex was actually showing compassion.
"<span style='color:green'>Well the water does make it sting, other then that, not really</span>"He looked around, all the 'dragons that were there had left. Maybe they scared them off?
Vex blew gently on the cuts, and even kissed one. Does it feel better now? She smiled and the noticed the same little fact that he did. They were all gone. She grinned, not really caring either way.
He began to chuckle. "<span style='color:green'>There's a dance club nearby, want to head there?</span>" he asked, feeling and urge to dance.
Her curiosity and attention were immediately piqued as she shook him lightly. DUH! Shoving upward, she thumped her tail impatiently on the dock and cocked her hand on her hips. Let's go. Taking flight, she hovered in the air to wait for him.
He shot into the air. He hovord there for a bit, and flew farther into the mainland. It was still near the docks though, so it wasin't much hastle. He landed at the entrance and waited for Vex.
