Day : 1st Month : Tessera Year : Year 81376 Character: Zeikara --------------------- Several months had flashed in the pass of an eye. It seemed like only yesterday she had met Meira and her brother, Aiolos. It seemed only this morning that she had been discovering the way for blind 'dragons to read along with the rest of them... and sent it off to several publishers, earning the attentions of many. However, Zeikara decided to remain here in the little library of the school. She loved it here, she certainly did. It was her calling, instilling in these children a love of classical Ramathian literature, showing them the joy that the knowledge of others could bring them. It was her call... reshelving these books. With a grunt she hefted another book and climbed up a few more shelves on her specially-designed platform ladder, tucking it carefully away in between the proper volumes. Some had said she was a bit too small to be a librarian. It was on those days that she knew that they were right. No bigger than your average housecat, most of the shelves were at least her height, and they were stacked 15 high in places! But, no worries - she'd had the ladder made just for that. It was a large thing, made at a sharp incline and mounted on the regular ladder rails around the library. Each platform was staggered compared to the next, and stood a head higher than the last. With this, should could easily carry a book in the shelving sling on her back up the shelves, and netly tuck it away where it was supposed to be. She took the next book off of the top of the pile and, pushing her reading spectacles up on her muzzle, noted where in the shelving order it should be placed.

As this one rarely smiled outright, it had to be pulled from the depths of his guarded aura. Aiolos had attempted sneaking up on the librarian, when he'd spotted her putting away books, and filing them. Whether he had or not depended entirely on how absored she'd been in her work; after all, the Janardan library was rather quiet.
