  1. <font color='#810541'>Quarter: Tessera (Autumn)
    Day: 7
    Year: 81377 (3)

Along the eastern shore the sun almost always shone, the sky was almost always blue, and the waters were almost always a shimmering mass of liquid crystal. The inhabitants were out almost every day fishing in their tiny boats that hardly seemed like they would float in a pond, and almost everyday they would come back in their tiny bathtub boats their nets teaming with fish of all kinds.

On this partiular day the sun shone so bright it brought tears to your eyes, the sky was a blue of the like never seen before, the water was a shimmering mass of liquid that sparkled like a thousand tiny suns was encompased in its swells.

The inhabitants were out, but not in their boats cathing fish. They instead gazed up at the magnificent prow of the slim 40 foot ship. Its sides gleamed with the oil and wax that had been scrubbed into the fibers of the wooden planking to swell the joints into a perfect watertight fit. The main sails lay furled on the 3 masts, the jib fluttered like a triangular flag at the bow and the hull was a rust red with light grey design work sprawling across it. In large black lettering 'Fusaj Pjudym' was seen near the bow and underneath that an intricate, serpentine figure.

At the very tip of this magnificent ship stood a single pendragon. His silver coat marked with gold looked almost like an expensive piece of jewellery in the strong sunlight. His dark grey wings speckled with sapphire and gold underneath were partially spread, both increasing his stature and keeping him perched on the bow. The odd teal eyes squinted as they serveyed all beneath him.

Ziarch had gotten quite a good payoff on his last job. As time passed, however, he found himself becoming bored and itching for something to do. The assassin ordered this ship made and was now setting out on, what should be, an adventure fit to quench anyones lust for danger and the unknown.

<span style='color:navy'>"I am here looking for any and all who can sail a ship well. Good crewmen who are looking for an adventure. The 'Water Drgaon', any crew we get and myself are going to travel south and explore the Kaushal Ocean. It is here they say our planet ends and the waters just poor off. We go to proove with myth true or false! You are the best known sea folk! You spend much of your life on the water and as such you are the best suited for this job. Are any of you going to come with me on this journey of a life time? Of this adventure fit only for the best? Then speak now and let yourself be known!"</span>

OOC: You dont have to know a thing about sailing or boats to join this and any "crewmen" is more than welcome to join. Just make sure to speak up and tell Ziarch what your specialty is. ^-^
Oh and if I do use a word or two that you dont know (sailing jargon, god that stuff is hard to understand! o.O) just ask. I generally dont use it though. Like I said it far to confusing! LoL Now lets see if we can get this massive journey out of the harbour and into new and wonderous waters... or so to speak. *grins*</font>

  2. <font color='#0000FF'>LoneShadow was in one of those ale-house often frequented by thieves and cut-throats. He grumbled and drowned an bitter beer as he hunched alone by himself trying to drown in his many bitter memories that made up his past. True, he was the Dre-Seynor clan leader yet none has seen him for what he is. He often kept to himself except for matters concerning his clan that he was passionate about.
"Oi! you are you gonna pay for ya drink laddie?" shouted an gruff bar-keeper that was looking angry as he eyed LoneShadow drinking in an dark corner. It was not clear enough to make out LoneShadow in the darkness of the ale-house let alone see him in the haze of smoke that filled the ale-house.

LoneShadow rose knocking over the table in anger as he glared at the bar-keeper. "no i wont" he simply said as he looked with an harshness into the bar-keepers eyes. The thieves and such did not care what would happen for this kind off thing happened nearly all the time. nay, they were busy involved in chats of the illegal kind. He was bathed in an purple glow that seemed to dance across him in an perplexing manner as if it had an life as its own. It was rare for many to challenge an master of dark sourceries let alone an 'dragon the size of an stallion. With an low growl of discontent the bar-keeper went back to his business of cleaning glasses.

LoneShadow went out of the smoke filled bar that disgusted him. He breathed in the taste of the sea air that refeshed him instantly as he padded just along an large sea vessel called  "Fusaj Pjudym". He stopped as he heard the call of recruitment. aye maybe me clan may need to be moving again what with all 'em dark beasts that appear now and again threatening the safety of my clan he pondered whether it would be wise to go on such journeys that he had never made. Alas, he had an strong sense of adventure as he cried out "count me in laddie i be LoneShadow, i offer you my protection of ya great ship" he gazed at the tall stern figure that had cried out "ya wont be finding any better protections in this here parts" He waited for an response for his requestion to join this ship, to set sail for great wonderous adventures.</font>

  3. <font color='#810541'>The gem-like 'dragon let his eyes cruise over the mass of people staring at him, or rather staring at his ship. They seemed to be in awe of the large sea vessel, his voice only an annoyance in the background. Apparently Ziarch and his skeleton crew would have to go to another port to find 'dragons willing to travel with them.

With a deep sigh the assassin-on-leave began to turn. Suddenly a deep voice called form the back of the crowd. Ziarch searched for the speaker and would have passed him by if not for the sunlight reflecting off his silver fur that nearly blinded him.

The assassin-on-leave yelled across the harbor, and motioned for him to come forward.

<span style='color:navy'>"Its LoneShadow you say? Well, friend, come aboard and we will talk about wages and find you a cabin to your liking. Do you know anything about sailing a ship or anything about the sea in general?"</span> He turned back to the crowd, looking over their ragged appearances and calling out once more. <span style='color:navy'>"I will be below decks with LoneShadow. If anyone else wishes to accompany us just come on board and find me."</span>

Ziarch waited for his possible crewman to make his way to the ship through the crowds, which were beginning to thin.</font>

  4. <font color='#000080'>~Lìnnet Faith
        Female, 1400

    Bic:

Lìnnet stepped out of the portal that had taken her from the bottom of the sea to this whole new world to her. It was her first time on “dry land" as many would call it. The only thing was it made her feel really sick. She was not used to the big difference in pressure change. She had lived under the sea all her life, it was a big chang.

She knew that she would have to find a place to stay for the night before continuing her adventure to Janardan Academy.  Not that she was in a hurry.  She would like to get to know the land a little more before going any where to quick.

She walked for a while until she came to the docks where there were many docked boats. She stared amazed at the tall masts and the colorful flags. Her eyes fell on a ship that had on the side the words “Fusaj Pjudym".  She started to think of what her mother would say if she had not gone strait to Janardan. Oh well, she really wanted some time off of school work and would love to spend as much time as possible out at sea as she could.

She adjusted the bag she had on her back that held a few maps of Ramath-lehi and a few other things she thought might be helpful to her for starting of a new life style. She then headed towards the big ship. She had heard another ‘dragon who she thought was most likely the captain who said he was looking for a crew. She didn’t know too much about sailing a ship but she did know how to navigate the waters.

When she went up the plank and asked about to a few other crew mates if they knew where the captain had gone. She soon spotted the ‘dragon she thought to be the captain and called out hoping to stop him before going below deck.
    <span style='color:ff6600'>“Sir! Captain, I was wondering if I could join your crew!"</span>

She called after him while trying to push through a few other ‘dragons to get to him. Her big wings getting caught here and there.</font>

  5. <font color='#810541'>Ziarch finished telling the slightly darker pendragon what his job outline would include. Most of the crew could fight, afterall what was a sailor known for if not a crude mouth and tough fist? So LoneShadows job as guard only partially covered that aspect. His main job was to keep the peace aboard the ship. Competition was healthy, but fighting was something that quite simply could not be allowed and Ziarch was hoping LoneShadow could be counted on to keep these confrotations between crew members to a minimum.

The silver male let LoneShadow decide what he would do and think of any problems he had with the job assigned. Behind him he heard a voice call out. "Sir! Captain, I was wondering if I could join your crew!” He turned to face the voices owner.

Coming towards him was a young female dragon pushing her way through the crowds. To Ziarch's eyes she looked tiny. A gangly young dragon, hardly reached adolesence, if that, with a mottled colouring of silver and gold and wings that looked far to big for her body. He let one brow rise far above his left eye, its teal depths sparkling in barly contained laughter.

<span style='color:navy'>"What position did you have in mind to take? The Fusaj Pjudym is a ship that has many positions to fill, but you are but a child! I have no problem taking you along... if you can earn your passage. Besides, m'dear, dont you have better things to do? Surely your parents do not approve of this and someone your age should be learning, not embarking on journeys with old foggies like myself."</span>

Ziarch really didn't have a problem taking young 'dragons with him, he himself was only in the mid 2000's, but he keenly remembered his lacking childhood and although didn't regret his choices in life wouldn't want others to take them.

He looked up at the gorgeous blue sky, feeling the strong wind sweep across the ship decks. The port didn't seem to have much to offer. He would try at another before setting sail towards the Kaushal, but he wasn't one to waste time and didn't like staying in a single place for long.

<span style='color:navy'>"Listen up men! Get the rigging loosened and sails ready. We will be casting off soon. This port has nothing more to offer and I hear that the store houses are almost fully provisioned."</span> He turned to the small female and LoneShadow.

<span style='color:navy'>"Make up your minds before we leave for I will not wait. If you have not decided by the time we cast off you will have to either wait until we reach our next port,"</span> He eyes both of their wings. <span style='color:navy'>"Or fly back to shore. LoneShadow, I hope you agree to my wishes. ... Miss, your presence on this ship will be most welcome, but I do hope you will think over your decision carefully. It is a big one."</span> Ziarch coloured slightly at the awkwardness of giving advice to someone when he didn't even know her name. He looked up to the sky again wishing to be off.</font>

  6. <font color='#728FCE'>Jarman Zig
    25 00

    IC:
Jarman was walking by the piers when the crowd gathered around a ship caught his attention. It was a rather large crowd, and he had a curiosity that drew him to it.
By the time he got to the crowd, they were already beginning to disperse, though they were still talking about what the captain had said.
    'The end of the waters?!'
He heard a young pendragon call out to the captain.
    She was young, but spirited.
He followed behind her up to the boat, not being noticed till he spoke up.
"Why would you want to prove that the waters don't just pour off? And if it's true, and they do just pour off, what then? How do we combat the current that is more than likely to exist there?"
He flicked his tail, the green flames arching. "Don't get me wrong, I'd like to join the crew, my secondary trade is being a doctor. But I was just curious as to these things."</font>

  7. <font color='#008080'>-='Taydran Shaev'=-
    10 00

Through the mingling crowd of people came forth a young 'dragon. Charcoal pelt glimmered in the warm sunlight of the port. The familure sway and creek of the ships at dock warmed the youth's heart and made it more of a joy to be here. A old and worn leather bag was slung o'er his shoulders and it seemed heavy with clothing and other needs. Taydran turned his crania and stared out to the open ocean beyond the port. The sun danced off of the rolling waves and glinted in the youth's cerulean orbs. Tail flame was alight with a bright orange fire and it flickered happily behind him. Bladed red tipped hair fluttered in the breeze and braids trailed down his long, wolven-like neck. The scars that lined his forebod made some older sailors stare at Taydran in confusion. A 'dragon of his age normally didn't have scars like the ones he had. Taydran was the look of a sailor. The spirit glowed in his dark azure orbs. This was the reason he had left home. Life on land would never suit the needs of the sea worthy lad. Noticing the crowd of other 'dragons around the bow of a ship called the 'Fusaj Pjudym' , he padded over. Overhearing the Captian's call for a crew, Taydran was overwhelmed with happiness. Bounding up the ramp, he weaved in and out of the crew and became face to face with the capitan. Nodding to him, he grinned.

Captian sir, I would be honored to join your crew if I may...sir.</font>

  8. <font color='#000080'>Lìnnet finally push her way through the tow other ;dragons and stood in front of the captain. She then moved over too make room for the other ‘dragons who also wanted to get a spot here on the ship.
<span style='color:ff6600'>“Well Sir I’m not expected any where for another two weeks. And I don’t think my mother would really have a problem with me going out on adventures. I have been doing that since I was 800."</span>

When he had said the word parents it brought back bad memories of not knowing her father. But instead of starting to feel down she just didnÂ’t say any thing about her father and thought about the trip she could be going on.

Lìnnet looked around the ship to see more ‘dragons trying to get on. She was surprised that there were so many that wanted to join. But then again who wonÂ’t want an adventure at see. She then turned aback to the captain.
<span style='color:ff6600'>“Sir I’ve lived under the sea ever since I was born. I have some magic with water and ice. Which you never know, could be helpful. I also know how to navigate these waters and know how to read maps."</span>

She hoped that, that would e enough to get her on the ship. If not then she would either go to Janardan earlier then expected.. or go find other adventure else where. But she knew this was what she wanted at the moment. A few more days out at sea.</font>

  9. <font color='#0000FF'>LoneShadow grinned as he watched others clamour to join in with the great ship that was now being eyed with jealously and lust by other sailors that were bound in their own way on ships of smaller and noticably smell. LoneShadow flexed his muscles and widened his wings as he took to the air to get rid of the many fishy smells that did not appeal to his taste. He was easily recoganisable as an mountain 'dragon that spent many times on land and few on water. With an few beats of his wings he was flying above the riggings of the great ship where he watched many people walk past about on their business fixing this or checking this. This was beyond him as he had never worked in an ship before. At least he had the dark magic which he could call upon for things such as unnatural winds to help them set sail to where ever they were bound for as well for protection but he did not believe they would be in any dangers as such.
He had many talents some that were known around the lands and many that he kept to himself. He hovered above the captain as he spoke quietly so that only the captain could hear "do not think of me as an simple 'dragon let it be known that i can kill you if i wish, as for wages i do not require paying except in food and an place to sleep" This words contained no darkness or threat of any kind, he was only telling the captain that he was his equal or greater but he knew that once the ship set sail the captains word was law at least he respected that. He grinned yet again as he told this time in an loud voice "I will be right back sir" At those words he leapt off the bow of the ship and dove into the water without heardly an splash except for an small disturbance on the surface of the water.</font>

  10. <font color='#810541'>OOC: I'm sooo sorry about the length of this. I had a lot to say! I promise (errr hope...) that none of my other posts get to anywhere near this length. Sorry again!

BIC: Ziarchs hackles rose at LoneShadows words. His voice was steady and held no threat, but the words themselves held quite a sting. The silver and gold 'dragon glared at LoneShadow's form as it dove over the edge of the boat. He began to turn to follow the dark sorcerer over-board, but was stopped by a number of voices... three to be exact.

He turned back towards the direction where Linnet had been making her way towards him. He jumped backwards a full step in surprise as he found three eager faces staring at him. The scowl quickly switched into an amused smirk. <span style='color:navy'>Well, old boy, I guess you had better get used to people looking at you now that your captain of a ship. I'll take care of LoneShadow later. He needs to be talked to. I will not have him hanging around this boat doing nothing.</span>

He cleared his throat. <span style='color:navy'>"I'm sorry about that.
Well, girl, you are most welcome to join the crew then. A navigator is always helpful on a ship and your magic could be a large plus as well. The maps and charts are in my cabin. I'll show you them and the instruments I use a bit later when we get underway. I should warn you, this trip will probably take more than just a few weeks. We will make another stop, possibly in Bhim and deffinetly in Notios Sudesha before we start the final leg. Staying on or not is your choice. For now though, welcome to the 'Water Dragon'."</span>
Ziarch purposely used the common tounge translation of the ships name. He wasn't sure how many pendragons still knew the meanings of the old tounge. He turned to the next 'dragon.

Jarman immediatly impressed Ziarch. He was visibly taller than the "captain", by a few inches at the least, with scars that told much of his life and most imopressing was the fact that he had asked one of the few intelligent questions Ziarch had heard so far that day! <span style='color:navy'>"You asked why I... we... are undertaking this journey, correct? To ansewer as truthfully as I can, because it is an adventure. I want to know where our world ends because no-one else does. Its never been proven if the waters poor off the edge or not. What if they do not? There could be lands unknown to us. It is truly a voyage for knowledge. If the world does end there then we may be lost like all the others that have undertook this task before us. I do not pretend it will be a sunday cruise, and as to getting back... well, I havn't thought of that yet."</span> Ziarch grinned. <span style='color:navy'>"I'm sure our young female companion will be willing to help with her powers and elemental magic, although not common is not rare either. If we do not get a magician on board I will sign one to the boat. That is why we may have to stop in Bhim. I do belive I have ansewered your questions and I hope you chose to stay with us. A doctor would be most helpful! Even if we do not run into trouble a boat holds its own dangers."</span> The last sentance was said in an unusually sombre tone.

Ziarch turned to the final of his three volonteers and paled quite visibly. The individual standing before him was younger than even the female! He carried scars of his own, but Ziarch worried if the child had even the strength to survive such a trip. <span style='color:navy'>"I will tell you the same thing I told the girl. If you can earn your wages and cabin on this ship you are welcome to join the crew, but, and listen here boy because this is a big but, I do want you to re-concider. It is a dangerous journey and you have much to look forward to in life. If you do stay what type of job do you have in mind?"</span>

Ziarch took a deep breath. He doubted he had ever said so much at any one time and his throat was dry because of it. <span style='color:navy'>"Now that we have that over with, my name is Ziarch, not 'sir', and I expect to be addressed by it. I dont believe I have been given any of your names? If not just for the records I would like to be able to call you something and I'm sure you would prefer your own names to lass, lad or "you".</span> He grinned widely, his voice was lightwith jest. He was feeling much better than he had earlier. <span style='color:navy'>"Your accomadations and meals are taken care of and anything we find will be split between all the crew evenly. On that note the cabins are found at the bow and a few others at the stern (back). You may choose your own, but there will be two to a room. The galley (kitchen) is directly in the middle of the boat and any of the three stairsways down will take you there. My room is the last at the back and you can visit me whenever you wish, but knock or call out first. If you have any questions feel free to ask me later. Right now we are getting underway. Unless you know what you are doing I'd suggest getting out of the way for the time being. If you do know what to do the crew will appreciate some hands. Thats one reason why I need help. We are MAJORLY under-staffed at the moment."</span>

With a quick bow he streched out his wings and with a powerful stroke launched himself into the air. The ramp had already been taken onboard and a few of his skeleton crew were already standing at the mooring lines ready to cast off at his word. In a booming voice that carried down the full 40 foot length of the ship he ordered launch.

The boat errupted intoa flurry of activity. Sails were hauled up into position and trimmed, the mooring lines were released and their caretakers jumped onboard the sleek vessel. The helmsman waved as the boat slowly began to leave the warf at no more than a crawling space. Ziarch landed again on the boom of one of Fusaj Pjudym's three tall masts, the center and tallest one, and watched to see what his three new recruits would do once left to themselves.</font>

  11. <font color='#000080'>ic: Incendi watched with glowing eyes in dispair at the water.  Cursed little thing... why oh why gods above did he have to go on a boat... one that was headed to the ends of the waters?!  She paced back and forth in the shadows, she could swim... if she had to, but she was as likely to place herself in that situation as she was speaking to her mother again...

Damn, he was getting on the boat... she could read his loud perky thoughts even before he'd addressed anyone about it.  she would have to go as well.  Now all she needed was a reason that she wanted to join the crew, other than wishing to kill one of the crew that is.  well she was a master elemental sorcoress, one could never know when that skill could come in handy, and if she became desperate she could stow away or something.  But first she had to get onto the boat.  The boat that was as she stood trying to get up the nerve to go near the water was leaving the harbor.  with a muffled curse she sprinted forward, lanky legs propelling her towards the ship.  Then she leaped over the water towards the boat, the sight of the crystalline blue driving her to use the telekinetic powers that came from age to aid in her ascent to the deck.  She landed easily and instantly washed all signs of aprehension caused by the water from her face.  "Is it too late to join the crew?"</font>

  12. <font color='#008080'>The youth stood tall as he was addressed by the capitan. Blue orbs twinkled in delight and courage as Zirach explained the work and the danger that would go one on the ship aptly named the 'Water Dragon'. Adjusting the bag on his shoulder, Taydran nodded kindly to the capitan.

Yes Zirach, I know the dangers that this voyage will hold and am willing to take that risk. My name is Taydran Shaev and am to be your new Cabin Boy.

A broad, proud grin crossed his maw and he awaited the Captian's responce with utmost patience.</font>

  13. <font color='#728FCE'>He nods to the captain. "I'll stay, Ziarch. My name is Jarman Zig."
He opened his mouth to say more, but was interrupted as Incendi asked if it was too late to join the crew.
He raised an eyebrow and smiled. "How good it is to see you again."
Before she could reply, he turned and made his way toward the stern to find a cabin before seeing if he could help the crew.</font>

  14. <font color='#810541'>OOC: Opps sorry, I just realized that I never gave you guys a chance to reply before umm flying away! Heh heh heh... Can we pretend that I didnt so rudely fly away before answering you all?

BIC: <span style='color:navy'>Well, this should be an interesting voyage. The younger two I worry about, but they seem eager enough to come along and work. Seems I've found myself a cabin boy and navigator. LoneShadow on the other hand... he might be a problem. Where did he go anyway? Note to self; find and talk to LoneShadow.</span>

Ziarch sat on the mast as the boat left the docks. The clear blue water created a wake at the bow as the ship displaced it and pushed the water out of the way. He lifted his head taking in the fishy smell of the ocean air. Sailing was one of the few enjoyable memories he had as a child.

The silver 'dragon was so caught up in the freedom he felt far above the ships decks that he didn't notice the individual leaping onto the ship. If he had he would have seen a moment where pure terror graced her face in mid-leap over the waters. But he didn't and so also missed the slight confrontation between the new addition to the crew and Jarman Zig.

With a sigh of regret Ziarch carefully stood up. He needed to make his way to his cabin and to the charts so he could tell the helmsman what course to take. As things stood the boat would be making its way to Bhim. While not the safest area of Ramath-Lehi it was on the way to their destination and one of the few places where you could find anything you wanted... for the right price of course.</font>

  15. <font color='#0000FF'>LoneShadow bursts from the water as jets lifted him above the ship and water begin to drip on his chest. He was bathed in an purple glow and his eyes were pure white as he flew powerfully torwards the ship, below on the water was an family of whales that would accompany them till they got to their destination. They were paying with each others as they hooted joyfully and slammed their tails causing water to spray everywhere.

"this is some of the protections that you have got on your journey, do not fear them for they are the lords of the sea and willingly offer their protections" He grinned in mischieviness as he heard the gasps and cries of the sailors as he had appeared quite suddenly with the lords of the sea. He relaxed a bit as tension flowed away when he sat just on the edge of the ship where for an moment it seemed like he was too tired then suddenly as it came it disappeared. "aye sir i believe you have been feeling some what i would call anixous feelings for me" LoneShadow glanced at the captain as he said those words.</font>

  16. <font color='#000080'>ic:Incendi gave a brief glare to Jarman's back as he turned to leave but a brief thought passed into her mind.  It had been a long time since she'd tried to influence another's thoughts and actions... but why not?  Her powers had doubtless grown and it would probably prove amusing.  golden eyes glowed softly and tinted crimson as she broke into his mind, sending in torrents of foreign thoughts.  my how nice thw ater looked, wouldn't it be nice to take a swim?  even to see what was under the boat?  exactly how long could he hold his breath under water?  bet it wasn't forlonger than 10 minutes... the splashing of whales distracted her as she was splashed in a fine mist of sea water.  she imedieatly bolted for the shelter of a large crate, cowering behind it.

ohgodsohgodsohgodsohgods i'm wetwetwetwetwetwetwet... get it off off off! slowly she calmed her panic down and peaked curiouuly from the other side, and when she noticed some sailors giveing her curious glances she just shrugged and said  nonchalantly. "Never seen a whale before..."

She gazed around the ship and followed the masts upward to study the rigging and nets.  Shed been on a boat exactly once before and that had been over a century ago.  The captain caught her eye and she walked over, habit keeping her tread silent as she waited for him to finish with whatever business he had.</font>

  17. <font color='#008080'>With a delighted nod, Taydran padded below deck. Down in the long hallway of the cabins, barely any light filtered through but the orange of his brightly burning tail flame took care of that. Cerulean orbs as dark as the seas glittered as the light bounced off of the water droplets streaking down the wooden walls of the 'Water Dragon.' Taydran noted to himself that is was an aptly named ship. Finding a suitable cabin near the end of the long hall, he padded inside and smiled as he stared around at the small room. Ohh well, it was more than home to his body size. Throwing his bag under his hammock, Taydran darted back up on deck to gaze about at the bay in which they were docked at. The ocean breeze ruffled the young males fur and he closed his eyes, relishing it. The sounds of the gull type animals that soared overhead was welcoming to him and he sighed. His heart, body, and soul was made for this moment.

The young cabin boy's mind wandered to the male known as LoneShadow. Zirach seemed rather tense about him and that gave reason for Tay to be slightly taken back as well. Stealing a glance over to the roguish 'dragon, he stared for a moment.</font>

  18. <font color='#000080'>Lìnnet nodded grateful to be on the ship.
<span style='color:orange'>“My name is Lìnnet Faith. I thank you for the stay on your ship S….Ziarch"</span>

She was taught to always be formal in this type of situation so it was stuck in her head to call him Sir.  It also didn’t bother her if it would last more then a few weeks that was just when her mother wanted her there, not when she wanted to be there.

When she had seen the other ‘dragon fly down and say something in Ziarch ear she had not heard but it made her feel a little uncomfortable. She try to ignore it by turning to the other too. She could tell that one was even younger then her, but he looked like he had gone through a lot in his short life. She was then surprised by the new arrival of anther who had just jumped on ship. It was a pretty far jump.

She then turned her self to see if she could be of help some where. She quickly moved over to the closets crew member who was helping to rise the sails. She grabbed hold of the rope he was pulling and started to pull also. She may not be to big but it didn’t need that she didn’t have any strength to help.

After that was done she moved out of the say of the crew that were going around in hurry to get every thing done. She was starting to find her pack on her back a little uncomfortablue so she decided that she would find a room to but her bag away. She started to walk off towards stern of the boat to find a room.</font>

Just between you and me, 'sir' always makes me feel like an old, pompous, aristocrat.</span>

A commotion behind him, splashes, whistles, booms, hoots and so on, caught Ziarch unaware and caused him to jump. Above the noise LoneShadow’s voice could be heard. Much of what he said was lost in the din, but Ziarch managed to catch a few whisps of what was said. He also got the feeling that the short and blunt speech was meant for him, even though only a glance was sent his way.

LoneShadow seemed to enjoy the state of panic he had caused upon the ship. This included the new female who hid behind a crate, panic written on her face as clearly as ink on paper. It lasted for but a few minutes before being replaced by a calm shrug and the comment she had never seen a whale before. The captain’s eyes swept back to LoneShadow, who still sat perched upon the side of the ship, and narrowed to but a darkened slit of their usual form

<span style='color:navy'>"Listen LoneShadow, I dont know if you are trying to undermine my authority or if you truly dont realize that I see it as that. But I do see it as a challenge in authority and on this ship, on these waters, I am god. What I say goes. You understand that? I prefer not to run my crew with an iron fist, but I will if I have to. Do not mistake my friendliness for weakness.
Now, I do realize you mean nothing but good by this... gesture. But, my instructions to you were to stop conflicts between the crew, not to sign up some whales to protect the ship and I expect my orders to be followed. Your opinions dont matter against my word. Suggestions I will gladly take, but dont you ever defy, or threaten, me again.
As for what I feel towards you; To put it bluntly I dont know what to think. You seem to have good intentions, but go about of your own accord. You are on a narrow path right now LoneShadow. I dont wish for you to fall, but if you do I wont be catching you.
The others know where everything of importance is located. Since you seemed to have missed that part of the introductions you will have to talk to one of the others of find out yourself."</span>

Ziarch turned quickly before LoneShadow could reply and shook his head. He could feel a headache coming on and wondered what had happened to the day that had started off so nicely. He made his way below deck into the dim and simple, yet elegant, hallways of the 'Fusaj Pjudym' in search of his newly appointed navigator and cabinboy. He left the others to do as they pleased.

His ship was heading in a southerly direction towards Bhim and the seas were smooth with a strong wind. Ziarch wondered then why such a dark fist clutched at his chest. Something was going to happen soon, and it wouldn't be pleasant.</font>

Somewhere nearby, a door opened. Out stepped, of all the 'dragons in the vast world that was Ramath Lehi, the one you would least expect to be taking part in such an adventure - but it was true. There was Oli, shady as ever, now framed by the doorway, only a visible silhouette due to the lighting in the room behind him. "Problem sailor on board, eh?" he proclaimed, in a rather official tone. Of course - he had no real authority whatsoever. In fact, it was quite possible that this was the first time anyone had become aware of his presence on board, yet he had now made himself clearly noticable and was, in his typical manner, asserting his self-assigned role of leader amongst those already within a rigid system of leadership. "Y'wan m'ta take care of the buggah?" A sneer crossed his maw. He, for the first time, brought his eyes about the deck in a sort of survey of the boat; locating the figure who seemed, for the moment, to have the most authority. He sauntered over with an almost drunken, swaggering gait, cackling obnoxiously. "I'd be yer first mate if ya so desire, eh? Got experience with the seas, can read 'em as the back of my paw!" Of course, fate has a funny way of doing things, and suddenly the ship heaved violently, tossing him onto his behind and sliding him across the deck. Nobody else seemed to be affected by the motion. "So, whaddya say, aye?"</font>
