<font color='#000000'>Day <s>IIII</s> III Tessera 81377 Baked was the fertile soil of Notios Sudesha, the dwindling summer days fading to the more serene climate of autumn. Enjoying the last burning days of early fall was Versus, sprawleed out on a straw beach chair on the rich sands of the resort's beach. Bipedal at the moment, his digitigrade forepaws were clutched around the edges of a thick volume labeled "Law" or something or other. It wasn't entirely legible, also due to the fact that it was in a broken form of modern Ramathian, though the various water stains didn't help much. For all he knew, it was pure gibberish, and Versus was merely making it make sense by reflecting his own knowledge into its tattered pages. But that was for another day. Tilting his opaque shades, Verse' filed the book beneath him and attempted to conceal his true motives - glancing (or shall we say, spying?) at the less than mediocre ladies that strolled the coastline! Apparently none of them were quite up to his standards, or perhaps it was the fact that all of them were clutching another pendragon's paw. Save for one, but she was.. erm. Too fat, that was it. Versus gave a small yawn and slipped into a half-state, the sunglasses neatly covering his eyes again a he tucked his feet beneath him.</font>
<font color='#000F22'><blockquote><font color=dimgray>Aridaka had never been the type to join in on vacations to Chafuo, even when her family had been alive. Sure, her parents and siblings had gone, occasionally dragging her along, as well. It had simply been... boring? It certainly hadn't been up to her standards of something enjoyable. The mere thought of wasting an extended period of time around hundreds of other visitors seemed rather foolish to her. Once she was old enough to make her own choices about such matters, she had stopped going, despite the protests of her parents. Sure, the view was beautiful, and sure, the coast was nice. But that was just what everyone else that was visiting thought, and all of them wanted to enjoy the benefits of this place, too. Had to get their money's worth, after all. Besides, it was supposed to be a restive place, somewhere to relax and enjoy oneself... to Aridaka, it was just a pain in the arse. In fact, she wasn't even sure why she had come here. She was all alone, now, no family to force her along. Maybe the whole "one free week at Chafuo!" deal had brought her there. After all, she did sort of need a break, and she could leave at any time. Besides, what better place to do her favorite hobby - drawing - then on the coastline. There really was some beautiful scenery around here. And speaking of scenery..., Aridaka's gaze was drawn by a sprawled male, settled down with sunglasses, and, supposedly, a book. Somehow, she doubted that was truly what he was paying attention to. After all, what kind of guy came here, and just read? Then he lowered the volume, and that made her absolutely sure that it hadn't held his complete attention, if it had even grasped a bit of it. Chuckling under her breath, the female tucked a stray bang back behind her ear. Ari was tempted to just ignore him - walk past. It would make more sense then sauntering over there and talking to him. After all, it would appear that he had... a certain type of sightseeing in mind, and the comely youth would probably receive a certain type of attention. Sometimes, that was an ok sort, but she generally preferred to know someone before she randomly decided to exchange flirtatious banter - or more. Her lips peeled back at the thought. That simple 'or more' could be a lot more, with men like that. Aridaka had no doubt what sort of things he had in mind, or was imagining about those ladies. With a slight grin, she slung the bag with her drawing supplies over her shoulder, and easily rose to a standing position. She was bipedial, having only slightly altered the bones in her hind legs to allow for better support - though it wasn't evident. Walking with easy grace, she sauntered quite closely in front of the male, though it wasn't purposeful, or trying to draw his attention, neccessarily. Merely... temptation? Maybe an attempt to see if he was willing to act on half-formed thoughts, or if he would prefer to merely ignore females once he had their images in his mind, since he could always think about them later, without needing a living, breathing body.</font>
