Timestamp Day : 37th Month : Tria Year : Year 81376 In Character Once in a while, we all overbear ourselves with pride. We plague ourselves with it. It's impossible to tell what the consequences could be. Soeli strutted along the edge of Ajita, the immense floating island. Below her, a vast, dark azure ocean spread along for miles and miles. With such a fearful appearance, why wouldn't you want to show off? Soeli was in such a great mood today. Her self-confidence was at it's peak. She didn't know why..she probably just slept well. She wasn't really the type to show off, but the pace in which she carried herself unintentionally made her look as if she was searching for admirers. Jealous ones. Her head was high, she was jogging gracefully, her tail flowed behind her like a banner in the wind, her wings were held away from her body, displaying all of her magnificent feathers and she kept a sarcastic grin on her face - narrowed eyes, her jowls parted displaying white teeth, and her lips forming a slightly threatening smile. As Soeli kept her pace steady along the edge of the island, she looked down at the water, not paying attention to the rest of the island. Memories of the past invaded her mind all of a sudden. The times she'd assassinated others to make a living. Those were times she relished and returned to in her mind whenever she wasn't occupied. She came to realize that these were times she longed to live in once again. Her health was wonderful..Ah, she felt like she could conquer anything. She had that feeling of flawless invincibility. Her past years hadn't been very fulfilling...mainly wandering Ramath-lehi, making a few friends, hunting to live..but she hadn't done anything really worth setting aside from the others because of importance. She wanted a change. Out of Character I'm really bored now. I'm sort of expecting someone to attack her, or something. Some sort of not-too-friendly confrontation. But before you do anything, check her profile so you know what you'll be tackling. Anyone welcome, no more than two though, please. If anyone actually wants to.
Out of CharacterHow could I forget? XD Even though my vocabulary isn't half as extended as yours, I'll TRY and have this post make sense..*pats dictionary.com* Is Solacia creeping up behind Soeli? I sure hope so..Because if not, this won't make sense. Back in CharacterA significant shiver crawled down Soeli's back. Her body jerked lightly. The telepath was sudden and unexpected. Hrm, I thought I was alone. What could she do, but smile about this? She didn't dare look around her, but rather, her sharpened senses worked to their fullest. She slowed her pace and just listened. Sniffed the air. { Was that a threat? } She giggled pridefully, and sure that she wasn't alone, she once again picked up her pace. If she were to get a telepathic, or even verbal reply, she would turn immediately and face whatever she had to.
Soeli kept her gaze on the ground straight ahead of her, now edging away from the cliff. Her pursuer was obviously not the stupid type - rather the type that played around with your mentality, and maybe even teaches you a lesson. Soeli wasn't surprised, mind you...It was just something different for a change. She wanted to turn her head, especially upon recieving the first telepath. Her pace now slowed into a sluggish amble. She was obviously dealing with someone who wasn't mentally stable. A few seconds later, the second telepath was recieved. Soeli's blood felt as if it was coming to a boil. Her ears pointed behind her head as her lips parted and a loud, vicious snarl began resounding. She waited about five seconds, and turned to face Solacia. Soeli wasn't at all shocked by her appearance, except for the fact that she was just about as large as her. She didn't dare take a step forward, but rather stood tall, her claws withdrawn, digging into the soil.
Soeli's fur bristled in anger as Solacia stared into her eyes. She avoided her glare by closing her eyes and raising her head. "Of course I don't fear you," she said aloud, scoffing. She giggled slightly at the thought. For she didn't. Upon noticing the colour of her saliva, she asked, "Um..are you..alright?" She backed away in confusion rather than fear, and walked to her side, sizing her up. Soeli, suspicious, and beginning to feel that Solacia wasn't normal, glared at her as a threat. { Don't come any closer, I'm warning you. } She padded back and forth at her side, aware that she could give her a bump in the shoulder if she was to attack, and push her off the island, even though she had wings. Unless Solacia was to attack first..well, that's another matter. Soeli couldn't figure out what Solacia's next move would be.
Ack... I'm sorry Izzo :/ I deleted Solacia... Was on vacation... All this junk just piled on and I've recently started roleplaying again. I deleted my posts on this thread and have decided to back out of it... Once again... Sorry...
