ooC: Haven't rped her in a while, so here I go. I'd like a bipedal male to join, maybe a year or two older than her. She's in her bipedal form, which I'm still developing. Tessera 39th, 81377 (3) biC: With one gaping yawn, Naedalya Tamz gathered her books from her Poisons class as the bell rang. This afternoon, she would finally be assigned a room down with all the other students. A brand new one, construction finally completed. Her room had been pending for months. Sadly, her room would have to be shared with a stranger. Maybe someone she'd glanced at in the hallways once, or maybe even someone she had class with. But what were the odds, with so many students attending the academy? She slid the bag over her huge draconic wings, onto her shoulders. Her ivory arms folded across her stomach as she followed the students as they bustled through the doorway and split their seperate ways. She was about 5'4", pretty slim and her appearance was quite serene, despite the clothes she wore - quite 'rebellious'. A tight, plain black muscle top and black bondage pants with several black ribbons attaching one pant leg to the other, so Naedalya couldn't step very far. Several chains also hang from her waist, onto her thighs, and clattered together as she walked, her muzzle pointing toward the floor. Only her eyes darted side to side as she made her way downstairs. She had practiced finding her room several times, so by now, it almost came naturally. She came down the final flight of steep stairs and made her way down the dim hallway. Her room was right at the end. Some of the doors she passed were closed, some still open, and some students were just entering them. The ivory 'dragon recieved a few wary glances, some smiles, and the occasional 'hello' and nod of welcome. The last room in the hallway was wide open and the scent of fresh linen flooded her nostrils as she stood in admiration of her room, with two beds on either side of the room. She was quite glad she had made it in here first. That very morning, Naedalya had brought in all her belongings, so she began unpacking them and neatly folding clean clothes into her drawers on the left-hand side of the room. Then, she lay upon the bed, leaving the door partially open, and began studying for the potions test next week. Her sleek arms, adorned with several black studded bracelets and chains, sprawled themselves around her textbook as her eyes glanced wearily across the paragraphs. Her wings remained neatly folded upon her back, and her legs extended out toward the end of the bed, her right knee bent and her socked foot rotating in the air slowly. She played with her burgundy-streaked-with-blood-red hair's spikey locks that didn't quite stay in the lazy ponytail she had tied her hair into that lunch period. In sheer anticipation, Naedalya turned her head several times toward the door, awaiting her roommate. ooC: Sorry it's so long. o_O;
Arton swallowed and continued down the hall. He only looked at his paper onces stating what room he was to stay in. Now and again he hiked the shoulder strap of his pack a little further up onto his shoulder another large army type duffle he had slun over his shoulder. "I wonder if I will have a room mate already?" he thought aloud as he continued to traverse the rather lengthy halls of the dormitory. Ahhh... here it is. He pushed the door open and slowly peeked his head inside his dark blue main haning in his face. He knocked as he entered calling out, "Ello? any one in here? Everyone decent?" he chuckled and stepped inside and looked around. Seeing the room was inhabited by another he tilted his head to one side, "Hello there... name's Arton." he dropped his bags and flung them onto the free bed. Stepping twards his apparent new roommate he offerd a hand to shake. "Looks like we're roomies..."
Naedalya smiled and sat up to greet her new roommate. Shaking his hand, she said, "Good to meet you, Arton, I'm Naedalya." ooc: This is all I can think of to write. Sorry about this worthless reply.
He smirked some and then walked back over to his things sifting through them. He saw the standard dresser and peeked in the top drawer. Seeing that it was empty he began to unpack his things into each drawer. In a couple seperate pouches on the duffel he took somethings out but kept them wrapped in the cloth that hid them and he placed them atop of the dresser each in it's own place as if that was how they were to stay. He kicked his empty bags beneath the bed and sat down 'indian style' leaning back against the wall. He looked across the room and smile some absently as he thumed over the pendant on the end of the strange looking chain about his neck, "So what are you studying here, Naedalya?" he inquired, seemingly interested in his new room mate. He hadn't expected to be rooming with a girl but he didn't really know what to expect since he didn't know anyone here. So he figured it fit just fine to have a girl for a roommate the more he thought about it.
Naedalya sat up on her bed cross-legged and took a good look at the male across the room from her. He seemed nice. "Oh..me.. I have two aerobatics classes, because that's my main focus. Gotta keep these babies in shape," Nae said, placing the clawed top of her left wing in her hand. Then her whole wing enveloped her midriff as she place her elbows over it. "And aerial combat...I love that class!" She paused, and picked up the textbook that was beside her. "And of course, poisons. My brother's into that stuff, so he recommended the class to me. Bad choice, for me, anyways. It's not my stuff. I'm not gonna take it next semester..." Her eyes had been glancing from one corner of the room to the other as she rambled on about her classes. She looked back to Arton and smiled. "How about you?"
Arton some some nodding, "Oh really that's interesting... I think I might have an aropbatic class, Not to mention an acrobatics one as well. A little trick I learned I can shift so my wings go away." he grinned and nodded quickly. His ears pirked some as he listened to her talk on and on about her classes and simply smiled. He didn't mind listening to her it actually saved him from asking all sorts of questions. When her question came to him he shrugged some, "Naw... I'm not big into poisons either. I am working on being a thief... and hopefully and assassin." he smirked a little half smirk and leaned back a bit placing a clawed hand over each knee letting his fingers curl around.
Nae's eyes glistened with interest when she heard of Arton's ability to make his wings disappear. "Wow..That must be a really cool trick. They really _do_ get in your way sometimes, eh?" she said as she lifted her wing back and it rose behind her. Placing the book back beside her, she said, "Oh..An assassin? That's cool! You'd really like my brother. He's...around here..He's not an actual assassin, but he kills a lot of other dragons and likes to pick fights for no apparent reason. Surprises me he's still alive." Naedalya rambled on about her brother just because she though he and Arton were alike. As if he really cares about Diable. Ugh, Naedalya, shutup about him.
Arton smiled at her rambeling and chuckled some softly, "Well Naedalya I hope I don't cross him somehow... I don't really like to kill, but I seem to be good at it. Or so my old teacher told me. Plus I wouldn't want to get into a situation where I might have to kill my room mate's brother... or be killed by him for that matter." he chuckled some again, "...the thought of being killed just isn't all that appealing to me." he smirked and stood from his bed walking over leaning against her's some but not actually sitting on it. He glanced down to her tilting his head to one side, "I know it sounds odd for some one trainint to be an assassin to not want to kill I suppose... " he shrugged some looking about the room slowly, "So what do ya do for fun around here?" he grinned widely casting his gaze back upon her.
Naedalya nodded at him in understanding. "I don't blame you if you don't want to meet him. But if you just approach him as a friend and don't provoke him, he won't do anything. The thing is, you may even learn some things from him. He's been fighting for quite a while and he looks about your age." She watched him with the slightest suspicion as he came and sat beside her bed. "Well, Arton, I think whatever you study should be something you love doing because that motivates you to do well and eventually, perhaps master the trade. It's my dream to be a master aerobat..." She lifted her head and her eyes fluttered closed. Must have been dreaming of flying again. Then, inquired once again, she looked back in his direction, but not directly into his eyes. "What do I do for fun? Well, before, when I didn't have my own dorm, not much. But now I do. I guess I should figure out what to do." It was then she lifted her gaze and noticed the way Arton was staring at her. With an obscure smile and a shimmer in her eyes, she asked, "What would you do?"
Arton smirked some lightly giving a bit of a shrug, "If I knew I wouldn't have asked I would have suggested." he chuckled softly just playing around a bit. He looked away from her for a moment glancing at the ceiling trying to think of something. "Perhaps a night time fly? Or you could show me what there is to eat around this area... I am kind of hungery." Arton shrugged slightly when he made his suggestions and returned his gaze to her wondering if she would have any others to add to the list.
Naedalya immediately sat up, and slid off the bed. She smiled a huge grin, that said, 'Arton, you are so cool!' She put on a thick, red hoodie over her black muscle top, after struggling slightly getting her wings through the holes in the back. "A nighttime fly around the academy sounds great. As for food..well, we can go to the cafeteria. They serve some warm snacks this time of night - like coffee, fresh muffins, toast, and stuff. Sorta' like breakfast." Turning the doorknob and pulling the door open, Naedalya glanced either way down the halls. "Coast is clear. Let's hurry up."
Arton grinned widely as she agreed to the night time fly. He opened a drawer and pulled out a black windbreaker type thing with slits in the back for his wings. Pushing one arm through and then the other he turned around and smiled, "Oh wait... I would need my wings." he grinned and closed his eyes as his upper torso began to change. Muscle structure, bone structure..... until two black wings emerged from from his coat slowly until they are large enough to carry him in the air. Once they are fully formed he opens his eyes and smirks shaking them out quickly, "Ahhh there we go... So... you're ready I see... alright lets get movin' " he was right behind her and glanced out the hall also making sure also. "Lead the way Naedalya..."
