    <table class=ooc><tr><td>Tria 43, 81378

Unofficial Menlo match between Sylverstryx Rymapumkaj, and Del</td></tr></table>

Sylverstryx sat at the end of his bed, stareing at the open door to his room. His menlo headgear and an assortment of chips lay beside him, ready for use. All he needed new was the other player. Stryx had invited A'Delos, a rather new student at the academy, to have a private, one-on-one match between them; having heard that Del played Menlo as well. Stryx idly played with his tongue stud has he waited anxiously for the younger male to arrive; this should be a good match.

  2. <span style='color:red'>Sorry i'm late Sylver, got caught up in the hall.</span>
he reached into his backpack and pulled out a slightly older model of the headset, and two chips, and chose his faster suit,

<span style='color:red'>The Shadow,</span> he said, smiling, and clicked it into the slot,

    <span style='color:red'>Ready?</span>

  3. <span style='color:red'>"The Shadow?"</span> Stryx laughed, <span style='color:red'>"This should be a good match, Shadow vs Wraith."</span> he said, clicking his newest chip in and settling the head gear on his head. He linked his helmet up to the menlo system network, and "connection pending" blinked red on the screen infront of his eyes as he waited for Del to hook up.

  4. <span style='color:red'>This'll be fun,</span>
he plugged in the headset, and prepared for his first match with his new chip

  5. Stryx sat back, getting himself comfortable as the head gear linked up. There was nothing worse than coming out of virtual reality and being stiff and sore. Stryx in particular had a bad back, and he didn't want it acting up right now. There was a moments disorientation as he entered the virtual set up. It was a rather basic layout, a large city, skyscrapers dominating the landscape. The only differance between this map and the ones used in official matches, was the size; this one being much smaller.

Stryx looked down at his hand, experimentally balling the metallic appendage into a fist. With a small hop he jumped onto the side of the nearest building and started climbing for the top. Built for speed and agility, the flexible plates that protected most of his body were ment to help attacks deflect or slide off, not hand a pounding. The line of spines along his back were his best protection, and the triple tail blades and large retractable claws; his best weapon. The hands and feet of his menlo suit had the ability to cling to surfaces like a gecko, helping his climb.

He had a little while before the buzzer would sound and the match would begin, so he set about looking for Del as he climbed. A metal and glass piece slid out over his eye, and the machina powered movement tracker started scanning for Del's suit.

  6. His mind lagging behind was a feeling he could never get used to, when he caught up, he was in a small alley.
he looked around, and figured he would be being searched for, so, rather than climbing up the wall, he noticed a thick metal door to his right, so he slid out his assasin blade on his right arm, and chopped off the rusty lock with one swing, and began walking up the little satirway in a half crouch, carefully ducking under the windows, and climbed to a top floor window, and found himself in a bedroom, then dragged a cabinet to block the stairway,
Where is he...? he wondered, his thoughts causing a tiny screen to slide down over his right eye, zooming in, scanning the other buildings for any sight of Sylver, his arm leveled to the firing position instinctivly

  7. Sylver's scanner caught a flicker of movement through a window a few buildings over. <span style='color:red'>There you are....</span> Stryx bunched his legs up, then pushed off hard, hopping from building to building. He stopped on the side of a skyscraper, parallel to the window he had seem Del through. There he was, and he was on the watch for Stryx... At his mental command a long thin blade slid out of his forearm, and his cloaking device started up, hiding his prescence from the view of the other player. Stryx silently hopped accross to the other building, landing just below the window sill. He took a second to steady himself, then flipped over, through the open window and into the room. He landed without a sound, right beside Del. He was invisible to the eye, and tracking devices, and was confident he hadn't been heard. He took a second to glance at the other player, before swinging his tailblades around, aiming for Del's legs, while his armblade cut a wide arc, heading for his shoulder.

<table class=ooc><tr><td>@$%*@&!, your guy is almost exactly like mine! i was hopeing to be origional... <_< </td></tr></table>

    <span style='color:red'>Hah!</span>
Del was lucky he decided to chose sight and hearing enhancements, because he had heard a tiny noise, and his acrobatic training and reflex enhansors kicked in, he crouched low, and in a blur of grey and black, jumped above the tail blades, and below the sword blade. cartwheeling, he activated his suits most useful tool, his own stealth skill, almost exactly as styx had, he became but a tiny distortion in the air, a tiny symbol on his heads up display told him he was invisible, at least for the moment, he re-opened the blade on his right arm, and readied his anti-stealth shuriken on his left, when the anti-stealth hits a target, it injects a large amount of glowing, flourescent liquid into the target, it wont cause extra damage, but it'll make the enemy glow like a firefly. giving him a little advantage. his tail blade began to twitch, as did his arms, his first true menlo match, and he was ready, he sprung into the air, and with the claws on his right hand, clung to the wooden cieling, managing to catch one little flicker of what might be his target, he shot three of his ten anti stealth shurikens, preparing to attack with his assasins blade on his right, and his extra long battle claws on his left.
    <span style='color:red'>I play to win...</span>
del said, and leapt to another part of the cieling, deactivating his sniper scope, so he could see more clearly
