Cayson Lapices

Description

Although Cayson is a Grader by blood, he possesses almost none of their colouration attributes. Instead, he looks more akin to his father's side of the family - the Lapices. Cayson's main fur colouration is bright orange. A shade that identically matches his late father's. His hair is of a lighter, more yellow-orange. He keeps it cropped at a medium length so that it just falls past his cheekbones. Sprouting from his head and going down his spine to just past his shoulder blades is a short, spiky mane the same colour as his hair.

Beginning just underneath Cayson's throat and covering his entire chest and belly, his fur is a bright crimson red. Similarly, a strip of red starts from his nose, travels between his eyes, and toward the back of his head. Bright red triangles of the same colour can also be found underneath each of Cayson's eyes.

Each of Cayson's feet and paws are also dipped in red, the colour stopping just past his wrists and ankles. The last knuckle on each of his appendages is wrapped in a dark band of violet blue. The tips themselves are white. Cayson's upper eyelids are also this same violet blue, making the young arden look like he's permanently wearing dark blue eye shadow. Both of his thin pointed ears are also encased in this same dark violet blue. His upper arms also have three violet-blue bands on each of them. Cayson's tail length is similarly striped with this colour.

Occurring on both of Cayson's haunches are tattoos of stylized blue sonic waves.

Cayson is built rather thinly and fox-like, just like his Mother. He's 5'11" when in his bipedal form and tends to fluctuate in weight quite a bit. He's never really had to rely on brawn. Courtesy of his mother's genes, Cayson's tail is a little out of the ordinary. It's tipped with a series of violent thin spikes and for the most part remains flame-less. Although Cayson has the ability to ignite his tail tip in flame, he often chooses not to. Another gift from his mother are Cayson's own eyes. They are of a blue-green (though more so green than blue) and flawed with several minuscule flecks of pink.

Cayson for the most part is very friendly and quick to laugh. He enjoys socializing and being in the company of others. Because of his seemingly carefree and fun personality (not to mention his ability to "entertain") others seem to flock toward him. Cayson has a bit of a guarded love-hate relationship with his popularity and most of the pendragons he knows. While he does enjoy the presence of others, sometimes the constant attention breeds bitter resentment inside of him. He has little to no patience for pendragons who try to flatter, suck up, or act flaky around him.

With that said, Cayson most definitely has a mean streak. He's not afraid to speak his mind or make a joke at another's expense if they happen to piss him off. He has been known on several occasions to act out with violence, but more often than not, satisfies himself with having tarnished the offender's reputation.
