Originally a mighty volcano, Pajukaldar is now a large crater resting on the edge of one of Trilok's mountain ranges. Part of its edge has been eroded away by natural winds, leaving a natural "gateway" to the inside of the crater.

Pajukaldar has long been a neutral territory independent of any of the noble Khell families' rule; even after the [[Genealogy:Jarkorli|Jarkorlis]] took over the continent it remained a "safe haven" where representatives of the families could meet on neutral ground. Today a small underground city is close by, as the crater itself is a fairly popular destination for tourists willing to brave the weather. (Needless to say, it's more popular in Tria.)
