Just being out of reach from the northern ice cap and just north of the [[Uhai Desert]], the Nyonge Mountain Range is slightly deprived of water, giving it a crisp and cold feeling. This, however, can be escaped to a certain extent by retreating into one of the many caves that weave intricately throughout the mountains. Wander within them long enough and you're bound to stumble across a natural spring of some sort before long. The range is moderately populated by many tribes of Pendragons. Some settlements are even large enough to house Trading Outposts and small learning facilities to work with. The northern peaks of these mountains are a dangerous place to be. Even though temperatures here have been known to drop in some places to an unbearable -60 C, there are always some brave (or foolish) souls that still attempt to scale these great heights.
