Well, we've completely re-vamped how the staff system works on Ramath-lehi. Hopefully it'll all work out better for everyone. :) Now, for those individuals that are interested in applying for a staff position... There is a new page, actually, there are several new pages that have been created. They're all listed on the http://shadowlack.com/gm.phpStaff Headquarters</a> page. On that page is a basic FAQ about the new staff system, a new sort of Staff Handbook that I'm still working on constructing, as well as a brand spanking new Staff Application page. :) So if you're interested, check out the pages. There's eventually going to be some re-structuring of the forums and their locations, but as of this moment, we're looking for GMs for the following areas: - Dhruv - Ajita - Mansukh - Bhim - Trilok And quite possibly Janardan. I still need to work out some information for that particular place. So Staff Applications are currently open. If you have any questions that I haven't covered on any of those pages, please ask me. I know that it is a lot to take in. Also, current staff members are reminded to update their http://shadowlack.com/forums/index.php?act=UserCP&CODE=01staff bios</a>. :) Edit: The GM application has been fixed a little bit. So if you tried to submit an app' before, and it didn't submit, it should work fine for you now. :]
Wooyay. Good luck to anyone whom decides to apply for a staff position. :) I have a concern about the staff bios — posted about it in the Attic. So I really don't know why I'm posting about it here. I think I'll shush now.
Hmm, counts me out then, :). I'll be 16 in March. I received an official warning (I think) and I don't have recommendation, *mew*. Maybe some other time, hopefully. Other than that being a GM would be great fun :). Edit after reading Sil's post: *O.O re-reads through hand book and form* O..k qoi? Hehe, I don't see anything about PMing a staff member for recommendation. *scratches head* so much for taking the initiative. I have a couple of questions. In regards to the PM you sent me. Does that class as an official warning? I believe completely it was a misunderstanding. Would I be allowed to wait 'till March to fulfill the requirements, assuming that I have not received a warning? And assuming I will still be able to apply at that time?
^^ Well I got parental permission and I've approached someone for a recommendation. The application form looks great, lots of detail in there. ._. only problem is I'm crap at listing my own strengths and weaknesses.
If you get your parents permission, you wouldn't have to wait. And yes, you can approach current staff members and ask them to write letters of recommendation, however they're under no obligation at all to write you one. As for the PM I sent you Dumu, I'm really not all that sure. I should probably tweak a few things regarding the warnings on the form and whatnot since I went and classified things into both minor and major offences now.
