Next to him sat two little cardboard boxes with air holes in the side. The two where marked with names and the rustle of feathers could be heard from within them. His golden eyes scanned the paths, waiting for the individuals to whom heÂ’d sold some of his little birds to to come and pick the young things up.
Fujjeyj once again walked the path up to the aviary. He had barely escaped his sister this time. He had excused himself with "time alone" which she always seemed to give him but had still seemed suspicious of. He walked up to Turrush. "I am here to pick up my flitter." He said in his low voice, eyeing the boxes nearby.
"Ah, good." Turrush grinned as he rose to his feet, snagging one of the two boxes with a hand. "You know about Flitter care? They drink nectar from flowers, and they'll need a decent ammount of attention when they don't have others of their kind, they're social animals..."
Fujjeyj nodded, taking the box. "Yes. Don't worry, I will keep cood care of it. I dont have other Flitters and I dont hope to, but this little guy will keep me company as much as I will keep him company." He said with a grin. He tried to poke an eye into the box. Thank you very much. He said, and turned to walk away.
"Any plans to compete? The Flitter Breeders' Society is planning one at Magi Lake later this season. They're sending a represenative from thier main office and making it into a decent affair." The excitment shone in his eyes. "They've never really done the conformation shows befor, but recently they've really had an upsurge in Flitter popularity and think bringing breeders and owners together woudl help the species."
Fujjeyj thought about it for a second, looking into the box he carried. "It sounds like it would be fun. Plus me and my little flitter will have even more reason to bond together." He said with a hint of compation that was slightly surprising for the large pendragon. "Yeah, I have been seeing these little guys everywhere, thats why I decided to get one. See you there." He grined at Turrush, and waved so long with his free paw, then turned and walked away.
"Excellent, see you at the show." Turrush waved as the other walked away. Then, he checked his one remaining box and waited for the other new owner to ccome by and get thier bird. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Sorry that took so long.</td></tr></table>
Mavlin walked down the now familiar path back up to the aviary where he had asked for his first flitter. Since then he had done quite a bit of preparations and was ready to bring it home. Strapped on his back were the promised flowers in trade, it was a good thing he had found a home for the flower because they might not have lasted another month. He soon spotted Turrush and walked up to him. <span style='color:brown'>“Ah, I’ve finally come to complete my half of the barging."</span> He grinned and handed over the planets he had removed which where at the moment wrapped in a dark brown paper to seal in the moister they carried for the trip here. He glanced down at the box.
Turrush picked up the little box as Mavlin set down the flowers. He was pleased to see that thier were a good ammount. He wasn't going to have to worry about where to get his smallest friends there food fora while. "Here's you're litte one. The papers you need to send in to the Flitter Breeder's Society are taped right to the outside of the box. Anything else you need today?" <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>Ad-De is the Genotype. Malvin bent over and picked up the small box. Being careful not to shack or jolt it in any way. He nodded as he looked at the papers on the side of the box, it looked all clear and simple. <span style='color:brown'>“Nope, I’m pretty sure that I have everything I need to know. Except would you happen to know if there any other breeders around?"</span> Malvin was interested because he hoped to soon breed his new female with another and he would be able to start a business himself. You never could know when she were going to get a bad year in the field and the huge storm had been a set back.
"There are a few around. I've got a student in one of my classes at the acadamy who's a pretty serious breeder. Name is Thi. I'd visit the shows, and talk to people there. Most of the local breeders will be there." He nodded knowingly. "I know that I'm going."
Mavlin nodded again.<span style='color:brown'>“Ah yes the shows. I’ll be sure to keep my eyes open for those. And the academy you say hmm…"</span> Mavlin wasn’t really sure if he would be willing to work with some one still in school, then again there were some kids who put lots of work into what they do. Maybe he would look into it.<span style='color:brown'>“Well, thank you for your services and your help. I’d best be on my way."</span> With a nod to Turrush, the brown male turned and once again walked down the path he had come.
"Have a good time. And look me up if you visit one of the shows." Turrush waved and went about unwrapping the flowers and makeing sure the dirt in the pots was damp. <span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td>The End.</td></tr></table>
