  1. This is old news, but not everyone knows about it yet. You can now translate English into Ramathian just by using some simple BBCode.

    To translate English into Ramathian, just use the following:

    <table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>CODE </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'>[ramathian]This is a test. Cool, huh? Yay [Jodie]![/ramathian]</td></tr></table>

    This will output the following:

    Shet et u sats. Kyyl, hoh? Iui Jodie!

    The BBCode works exactly like the PHP and Javascript versions of the translator. So if you don't want to translate a particular word, just wrap it up in square brackets.

    You can also translate Ramathian back into English using a similar BBCode method, however I'm working on a hopefully even easier method using Ajax. We'll see how that turns out. :) I've been pretty swamped in homework as of late.

    And... there is a nice little http://shadowlack.com/forums/index.php?showforum=91Polls and Surveys</a> forum now, so if you've got the time, feel free to answer the questions there. :)

  2. Hardcore Ramathians should already know how to read and write ramathian fluently.. or at least know the letter chains. (Yes, I have my doctorate in Ramathian Studies now. I am awesome.) Isn't Ajax, long-story-shorted, where you would put it in the box and it auto-edits itself? Seems pretty interesting to me.

  3. I think this new translation option kicks butt XD About the polls and surveys forum: O_O I was thinking about a separate section for them about... 10 minutes ago x) Darrn. Anywho, the Ramathian -> English one will be cool too ^_^

    Yeah, through the use of JavaScript. I'm trying to figure out a way so that it won't cause a drain on the host though (not that that would really be a problem). I'm probably going to write a separate file to run alongside the post parser. I just need to figure out just how I want it to work... lol. Maybe something so that when you mouseover, it auto-translates or something. No idea if I'll be able to pull that off though. :P

  5. Well, it seems that the BBCode seems fine enough, but new things are always awesome. the -2 second thing still throws me off though

  6. -2? I don't think I quite follow you.

  7. Thats pretty cool. Skylink, i know i should know Ramathian by now but i dont. XD Kekeke. I need to practice it... And leet... Because they're cool like that. =3

    Sweet translator code Jodie! That is going to come in handy!!!

  12. DonÂ’t worry Benji, itÂ’s too to me as well. One of the draw backs of not role playing anymore ^^;;

    ThatÂ’s some pretty nifty coding there Jodie :)
