Opal's turquoise scales glinted in the snow, contrasting against her blue stripes. Her white horns were almost invisible in the snow. Her rainbow flame was as strong as ever in the snow. She was climbing the mountain, her thin limbs carrying her up with ease. She licked her chops thoughtfully, and continued her climb. She soon came across a field of icicles. They glittered in the sunlight, and Opal was left breathless. She slowly rubbed on with her paw, then felt a sharp pain! She hissed as she saw the blood drip off her paw. She licked it, and retreated a few feet away from the vast, beautiful wasteland.
