I'm so happy to see this place has perked up. Things have changed a ton since I was last here. xD So I didn't have internet for ten months after a failed move to New Mexico, but now I'm back and SO PSYCHED to see activity, and I'm all inspired and even have a new character idea that would work REALLY well for this site, I think. I was here aaaggees ago, when the site was still Ramath-Lehi. I think I was somewhat active then? But this site, so unique in everything about it, is what really helped me branch out and cement my love for writing and roleplay. It's also really inspired me to try and be creative? Cause the critters you play here are so cool and some of my most inspired ideas came from the characters I made for the site(like Gunner, Eirik and Sydney for example). I just wanted to show my love after coming back and finding another site I was very emotionally attached to(and their promise that the site would never die) dead, I was hurting. And then I just checked Shadowlack's deviantart and saw new stuff and had to check, so it does my heart good to see the new changes and members and renewed activity. ;u; Um. My nickname is Crys. A lot with me has changed since I was like... 14???(I have no clue if this is right) and joined. I'm 21 now, life isn't the best to me and hasn't been for years, but I'm happy to be back and have the chance to come back here. I'm an artist; I draw digitally for the most part and have the creativity of a braindead toad, so I mainly draw wolves and anthros. I'm also a rabid photographer who goes nuts when she sees something that would make a great picture and doesn't have her camera. I roleplay TONS. Like, I eat, breathe, sleep and roleplay. I'm currently on Wild Wolf Society and 'Souls, and now back here, and I also have three active email rps. I HAVE NOTHING BUT TIME. SO UM. If you want to thread here, or in email, or whatever... pleeeaaasseee let me know. Cause I definitely want to write here again. I miss my babies, and I miss this place. Oh, and I currently have four animals. One precious ball python, lovingly named after my charcter, Fleur. I got her very soon after I made him(like within a couple weeks or so, I think), and she's lovely. Never bitten me once and is the best starter snake I could ask for. She's going to be three this April. I also have a going-on-11 dog, Gypsy, a dog I rescued in the 5th grade and somehow convinced my mom to take her home? And then she punched a pitbull in the face when it mounted her and we decided to keep her after that. xD I have two... 4 or 5 year old cats(I suck at remembering their ages), Simon(my baby) and Nova. Simon was my first kitty and he is totally mine. We got him the last day of school when I was leaving the 7th grade, and he came home in a little box with two broken legs and puncture wounds cause the lady that gave dad the kitten lied blatantly to him. But I'm thankful. He's my special baby. Nova is a rescue we adopted from the vet place we were taking Simon to while his legs were mending. I saw him in one of the adoption cages, showed mom, her jaw dropped and she asked to hold him and we took him home. Without telling dad(he returned the favor by letting me get my snake on the fly and not telling mom until we got her home LOL). AND AS YOU CAN TELL I AM SUPER LONG-WINDED and love talking about my animals. And apparently myself. I'm never so talkative when introducing myself. My apologies. xD I can't wait to meet some more people and catch up with some old faces that are still around? andsrsly, if you wanna rp please tell me. I like to fill my painful amount of free time with writing.
Hi Enalska, welcome back! It's nice to here that you're still writing and drawing =D And that you've come back to us! So many babiiiiies. Sounds like a house full of fuzzy and scaly pet love. I've been having to go to my friends place to steal time with her cats to get my pet fix. I'm not made of time just yet (one last project to hand in then 3 days of travel). Woo! Glad to have you back, Crys! I remember back when you first starting doing art of your characters here. They were so awesome. Fleur is still absolutely adorable. :3 Calling me Jodie is fine. ^_^ I'm glad you're liking it! Haha. You know, if people are interested, we could open up a temporary free-for-all board until the IC boards are back up. I know that it's been suggested a few times, but people's activity has still been a little dodgy, so I'm not certain how much they'd be used. With that said, the IC boards aren't too far off. I just need to: Finish character profiles + add image uploading/editing Add character creation once more (with character transfers/adoptions coming later) Make the IC boards & link them to the character profiles. Then we'll be ready to roll.

Yesss, magical notifications! I'm still testing the frequency of how often people get pushed those notifications. So far it's been working rather well. An open roleplay board could give people a chance to test or try out characters as well. Just everything that is posted there would have to be considered non-canon. Hmm, hmm! I'd be game to RP too. I know I'd be a little slow at the moment. I'm juggling... four projects right now. o_O; Once I bring that down to at least two my time should be a lot more manageable. Yep, being active and roleplaying should still unlock new character slots! Although that's something that I'll have to build further on along the line with character transfers and adoptions. They should go together pretty nicely. I'm not sure yet if OOC posts will count toward slots though. On one hand, I like activity. On the other hand, it isn't in character activity.

Like the like button and stuff, people always say they look for those on boards where they don't have it, it's so neat. xD I just.. really like not having to refresh to see new stuff, it's really, really nice. I think... that sounds good, honestly? And once the IC boards are back, maybe you could keep it as a sort of test board to play out new character ideas and work out kinks in them? But the posts wouldn't count for anything. It'd be a good thing to go to right now while we wait for the ic boards, though. I can totally wait until you have more time. As with what I said with Lautir, I'll be here and just let me know if I'm not already stalking to see how much time you have? xD I don't know how you do it though, especially since this site has been an on-going project for yeeaarrss. The idea of being active to unlock character slots is just so cool, and I'm totally for it. It'd totally force anyone who wants to have more characters to be more active(like me lol). As for whether OOC posts counts or not... I think they should, but not as much as IC posts count. Being active OOC in important too, so I think they should count somewhat but if you really want to make headway on getting a new slot you'd have to be active IC too for the majority of what you'd need to get a slot. o:

Hehe, elder indeed. Soon I'll start complaining about young whipper snappers. But not really cause I love seeing new blood in here >:] I'm sorry about your guinea pigs, ones of my sugar gliders died last month and I took it pretty rough :( I agree, the forums are so sleek and sexy. The first time seeing things move the way they do (ex. drop down notive for saves.) is just stupid fun. I'd also use a temp IC board! I think it might makes people a little more active if we could have small thread to work in. And I would mind testing the waters with a new character, I just need to invent them still. I'm going to do what I hope is my last edit of my section of my final paper, after which I should have plenty of time for RP fun and I'll read over your char profiles to remember what they're like. I do have a 9 hour train ride on Thursday that has promised me wifi, so I'll definitely have some free time then!

Little baby animals need to stop dying ;n; I forced myself to not cry over it though(cause I refuse to cry in front of people lol), but it was hard and I miss them dearly. How's yer other sugar baby doing? I love how this place is coded, it's unique and easy to navigate and super easy to update stuff cause of the dropdown save that keeps the page from reloading so you don't have to find yer place again. S'aawesoomme. Everything is just so... neat and fast. I love it. ;u; I would so take advantage of having that temp board. Like crazy. Although I'd be fine with waiting for the IC forums if there's not enough interest in a temporary rp board. I'll totally bug you on that train ride so I can help make those nine long hours more bearable. xDD Hopefully by then I'll have my profiles rewritten cause you shouldn't... read them now. They're years and years old. The old text on them must be killed and burned and then replaced. LOL I need to look over yers too to get reacquainted with yer characters! My other boy is doing okay I think, my mom had him checked out since it was lung issues that took his brother. He's home with my parents so I haven't seen him for a few months now. But I will in a few days! Haha, that's how I feel when ever I go back to look at my character profiles too. They're all pretty much under constant maintenance. I'm thinking I may retire Cilea and make someone new and a little more exciting :]

Give him some extra love for me New character?? 8D I'd hate for you to retire anyone, because I tend to be kinda selfish and like "what if I wanna play them later" so I have officially never even killed a character(I did once but then I was like 'screw that I'm bringing him back'). How many slots do each of us have from the start for characters? Four? If so that means I will have a spot to make my new baby who will bring some fresh blood to my ancient Ramathian characters. xD MAYBE... maybe you can plot with me for this new character? like um. our characters will know each other and stuff, ect., to make room for many plots, unless you don't wanna link a character to another like that? I would love to, in case you like the idea. :3
Haha, I've retired a few in my day, mostly because they were pretty bland when I started out, and we used to have space for like 8-10 characters, so they piled up quickly. Having less now means having more time to give the characters proportioned love xD I also outright killed one to be a "pathway" for a new character to arrive. And yep, 4 for now. And I'd so be down with cross over back stories! I only have two basic ideas that I'm toying with right now, bit of a toss up between ex-pirate/crime boss or robots/science. I'll PM you some of my brain storming and we can find a way :D On the train now, however there is no table for computers so it's more awkward then I expected. And one of my good friends ended up on the same train so bonus! And then we just chatted with the two other guys for a while. Overall eventful day already!
You have courage to do that, I swear. I would never. Even if I never played them. xD I'd just have to revamp them to keep them interesting! But I sort of miss being able to have like 10 characters even though I never reached that limit. EITHER WAY I'm also super excited for the character slots to be implemented so when I get one I know I worked hard for it and the chance for another character. :3 Yaaayy, good thing I have the extra slot so we can do this. I'd be so sad if I couldn't. GO ME FOR NOT FILLING IT WHEN THIS SITE HAD JUST BEEN MADE. But I pmed you! Well laps make okay tables in the end. Towards the last two hours I just watched some downloaded stuff that I had prepared. But given that some of it was dinosaurs coming out of the past and the other was an over the top Japanese video game movie adaptation I hope that people noticed and thought it was strange! I'm pretty much going to be un-contactable for the next, hm, 42 hours? Road trip starts early tomorrow morning so I'm going to leave you hanging till I make it back to the cold, cold prairies hopefully within that time D: I'm also really excited about how well our characters will work out together, it will be peeeeerfect! I don't anything anything nailed down for appearance or name yet though, so it will take some time. I hope to be able to pop on at random wifi hotspots along the day(s), so I'll keep you posted :3
Laps are fine unless you have a bad neck like I do, and when looking down for too long my neck begins to hurt and I get a migraine. 8D Tables are great, so are desks. I wish I had either. LOL I'm glad you had some stuff to watch, and I hope people noticed too xDD When I was riding the bus, they promised wi-fi but it didn't work at all, and I don't download anything and had legit nothing to do for the DAYS I was riding to places. So you went very well prepared. :3 I'll be here waiting very patiently and excitedly! Trip survived! Tried to brainstorm names during the trip, but the longer we drove for the less I was able to concentrate on anything other than the road. Ouch, migraine :( And prepared if my way to be :D I'm still pretty exhausted from being awake for over 24 hours so I probably won't PM reply till tomorrow. Gotta put my brain back together.
Yay! Congrats. :3 And no problem at all, I TOTALLY understand. After three days of no sleep on the bus I was fried for about two weeks. We have all the time in the world to plot, so take yer time and get some rest!
