Name's Nisorin. Disappeared from here for a while, life got insane pretty quick. Anywhos... Been RPing for god knows how long. Started a tiny bit on Neopets, got bored with the site. Got introduced to Gaia as a way to keep in contact with a friend when she moved, started RPing more on there. Been on a few boards since then, Galactic/Cosmic Empires, currently a mod on the new season of it, Shattered Planes, couple others run by GE/SP members. Definitely my favorite genres to RP are fantasy and sci-fi, which is one of the things that drew me to both GE/SP and Shadowlack. Plus, my creativity's been running relatively thin lately, probably because of the fact that I've been almost exclusively RPing on one site for years. So I'm hoping a change of scenery will help with that, and Shadowlack is quite the shift. Major power in a Nation Builder to basically RPing as a commoner is quite the shift, and I'm hoping the 'culture shock' as I've come to call it will help jump start the imagination.
Hi Nisorin! Welcome, welcome. :) Life has a way of happening. It sounds as though you have quite the experience when it comes to world building. I've no doubt that you'll fit in fine here. We're quite free-form though when it comes to fleshing out the world. So don't be afraid to edit the wiki and add things if you think they'll be awesome. ;) Everyone has the ability to shape the game here, regardless of how new they are.
Hi Nisorin, welcome back :] Life does like to get insane at the drop of a hat. I hope that your 'culture shock' results in inspiration and not a crippling fear leading to a shift in your world view!
Hello Nisorin, welcome back! I'm Kayou, the semi-official greeter person and envoy from the Kitsune Realm of Insanity. I am glad to see more and more people coming to life on here, and I look forward to RPing with you. Feel free to come hang out in my RP discussion thread if you want, I just created it. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to hit me up, though I doubt you will since you're a returning player. Anywho, welcome back, and I hope you have fun here, and get out of your rut. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help, even if it's something as simple as doing a small AU RP thread to get the creative juices going for ya.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I just can't wait to get going, mostly. Thinks should be calming down after this week, maybe even by the time the funeral's done Thursday.
