<span style='width:100%;font-weight:bold; font-size:10px'>Out of Character</span> <table class=ooc><tr><td> New character...hope this goes well...lol</td></tr></table> Caydo slowly walked out of the thick grass of the jungle and stumbled upon the young female pendragon. Stopping for a moment to take a look at her, she seemed of little threat to him, but he remained cautious. "Hello, I'm Caydo, and you are?" He asked her, waiting for a response.
teakany looked up at him in shock. not knowing what to do she stuttered i-i-i'm t-t-teakany. she felt like an idiot now. surly he thought he slow... he was taller then him much taller... then again most males were. what do you want? she said holding her bag close to her. she knew it had been a bad idea to come out here alone. she tired to keep fear out of her eyes not that it was hard no one knew what she was thinking by looking at them thats for sure.
Caydo looked at her curiously, unsure why she was afraid him, then noticed the blade at his side as well as their difference in height. He noticed her clutch for her bag, a momentary glance told him that. Caydo looked at her, trying to look as unthreatening as possible. "I'm not out to kill or injure anyone, just exploring the jungle, please don't be frightened madam," Caydo said as he bowed slightly. He looked at her for a moment, then at their surroundings, then back at her. "What are you doing here?" he asked.
teakany read his mind quite over and over again. nohting to be afried of. she relaxed a bit. im just walking... she said in her sweet tone. her vocie still held a trace of fear. she wasn't to open about things. she mostly kept to her self. she reached in her bag and pulled out some water and drank deeply from the bottle. she was so hot. she made sure she kept one eye on him. she didn't trust anyone...
Caydo nodded as he watched her take a drink, she seemed trustworthy, despite having read his mind without permission, but he understood the reason. "Walking all the way out here huh? Well that seems reasonable I suppose," he said quietly, looking around again. He cupped his paws and got a small amount of water, taking a few drinks from the stream, it looked clean. "Would you happen to know the whereabouts of the nearest town?" he asked her after drank.
teakany moved away from him and grimaced. the slash in her leg wasn't to noticable considering she had black fur. but now it hurt like hell. she muttered fucking stupied leg. she silently praied he hadn't heard her. but then in the back of her mind she though it would be nice to have someone to walk with.... she banished the thought. she sat on the ground to give her leg a rest.
Caydo looked at her for a time. "Did you say something?" he asked thinking he had heard something but shrugged it off. He'd thought he'd heard "fucking" but how could a young female like her have language like that? Perhaps he'd heard wrong, he looked her over quickly, it seemed she was wounded lightly, he decided to not inquire. If she wanted to talk about it, then she would.
teakany looked up at him little, little!! how dare he! she looked back down at her pack you already know what i said i know you know. at least part of it i also know that you know my leg is hurt. she took out a bandage and started to wrap her leg.
Caydo nodded, she was a little rude, but that didn't bother him. He looked at her for a moment. "Are you sure you're able to travel all alone with that wounded leg? Perhaps I could help you along to the next town?" He said to her as he looked around for what might be the way to the next town.
teakany nodded if you want to then fine i will exept yor help. but just so you know there are no towns only villages a village is smaller then a town. for the frist time she smiled at him. a sweet little smile. thank you she finished her leg and got up. shall we? she said impationtly.
Caydo smiled back at her," Good to see you know some things. I suppose I'll have to follow your lead, I don't know this area very well." Caydo put an arm around her gently in order to help her walking, willing to let go if she didn't need the help. "No problem about the help," he said as he began with her out of the area.
teakany squrimed a bit then said i can walk you know. im not cripled its just a little cut up my leg she looked down at the already bloodly bandages. she always under exauraterd things. if her arm was hang of she probly say o its nothing to to bad just a big wound. then she said ok the village im heading for is that way she pointed to a path beside the river. she started to walk that way swinging her pack up onto her back.
Caydo sighed, it looked like she wouldn't take help walking as easily as she had taken help traveling, he decided to help her anyway, despite the protests. He walked with her along the path beside the river, making sure to keep an eye on her wound as well as if he needed to rest any. "I know you don't want my help, but I'm going to give it to you, you need it," he stated bluntly as they headed down the path.
teakany glaired at him and who are you to tell me what i do and do not need? i am not and let me make this very clear a little girl!! i'm 18 bloody years old! she hated being treated like a child. almost as much as she hated a mess and being fussed over. she was getting tired but she wasn't going to stop walking. no sir not her! he wanted to treat her like a child how dare he!! who did he think he was anyway?!?! men!
Caydo looked at her, she seemed to be very angry, from both her body language and her statements. He met her gaze but stayed calm. "Look," he began stopping along the path," you're very tired and I know that, so let's stop. I don't care if you're 100, I'll help you because you're hurt, got it?" He stated this very plainly putting as much force into his voice as needed without seeming angry. "Now let's either stop here, or keep going without much fuss, because as it is we'll need plenty of time to get to the village." Caydo started walking again, making sure she was all right, hoping his words weren't too harsh.
teakany stoped in her tracks. she gave him a look of pure venom. i don't care if you want to help me or not. i don't need it its not that bad! she looked at her leg i'll prove it she got ready and ran up the path or at least tired to. about the tenth step pain brought her down. damn! bloody! frigin stupid! arrrgggg!! she was a very stubborn girl. she knew he knew that. but now she'd gone and made a fool of her self.
Caydo took a few steps towards her and helped her off the ground. He just looked back at her, hoping her anger would eventually wear off. He ignored her comments and just looked to see if she could stand so that they could continue to the journey. "You may not think you need it, but you do. Just accept it for now, if we get to the village and you decide you still despise me and don't want me around, I'll leave you," He smiled at her and looked at her," have we got a deal?"
teakany sighed fine. but i'm not going to enjoy it! she let him help her walk. she knew she wasn't going anywhere without it. she decided she would still salk the whole way.
Caydo smiled, glad that she finally accepted his help," Good girl," he said laughing under his breath so she wouldn't hear. He began walking, looking for next landmark to move or turn at toward the village. "Are you all right? Or do you need to rest?" he asked.
