OOC: Chapter 3 is up. F.W.M, Fey'yore, ang0224, anyone else, who wants in, is in this. Anyone else can join in anytime. 10:30 A.M 1st Tessera Pendzez Zazkex IC: The blue sky was quite pleasant with some clouds covering some of it up. Avions flew by, no rain in sight, everything. Pendzez looked out of the Harbinger side-window at the variety of Avions that were flying alond side. Pendzez smiled at the sight before looking back at the controls. He wasn't piloting the jet. It was on auto-pilot, with the coordinates to the site at the Machina Ruins. Pendzez knew what the guns on the door meant. It was the tomb to Yu'kade, his great grandfather. From the history on his ancestors, Yu'kade was known for Archaeology and as a expert marksman. Because of marksmanship, he was knwon as the Silent Shooter because he would shot a gun without even leaving a trace of his presence. The computer indicated that he was in the Boreios Sudesha area. Pendzez prepared to land near the Machina Ruins. He was above the Ruins as he started o set Harbinger down. He looked at the place where he was landing to see if he was in the right place. After checking so, he landed. Opening up the lifting cover, Pendzez stood up, taking a stretch. He then pressed a few things that locked Harbinger up, like a code that he only knows. He jumped out of the seat with the cover closing afterwards. Pendzez took his stuff out of the of the cabinet that was locked up on the left of the jet. He locked it again afterwards, then went to the sight. Standing on the edge of the dig sight, he could see the workers that were there. Pendzez looked around for a tent or something that had the main computers and the head director of the dig. He started to search, asking some of the diggers. One said, "What are you doing here?" Pendzez replied, "I'm looking for Fautal. He knew I was coming." The worker then knew the boy immediately. "So you must be Pendzez? Come with me." The worker led to a red tent that had computer and printed images. The worker said, "Wait here." Pendzez nodded in reply The buy was looking at the images on the screens. He saw from different angles the doors with guns marked on them. He then looked at the printed images and some history books. It looked like they were trying to identify the markings. There was a journal on another bench. He opened it and read, 23rd Tria, Workers find doors with guns marked on them. Attempt to open failed. 31st Tria, Drilling attempted, doors not even stratched. 49th Tria, TNT attempted, doors remain intacted. Workers then knew door wouldn't open, so it was left alone." Pendzez grunted at the words of the journal. "They won't be a problem for me."
OOC: Fautal Vliemd IC: At least the ride over to the site had given him some sleep. Earlier that day Fautal had to cancel his guest appearance in the archaeology class to go and do something that he thought would be a bit more interesting. Of course he wouldn't tell the professor at Janardan that. He instead told him something came up at the dig site that needed his his attention. He then got himself a quick transport to get over to the Machina Ruins and while on it he told his crew to be expecting some company. Fautal had just arrived at the site just over half an hour ago and he decided to wander around getting a feel for the place again and sorting out anything that needed to be while he was waiting for the others to arrive. He had met his team to see them very surprised to see him since he had said that he'd be gone until two days later. Fautal now was receiving a call to come back to the main tent because someone was waiting for him there. He assumed it was the company he was expecting. Fautal went back to the tent to find Pendzez there reading a log of the dig site. Apparently it was about the doors that had been found a couple of weeks earlier. "Those doors gave us quite a bit of trouble. We are still trying to figure out how to at least get them open. Curiosity is killing most of us here because of what they think they might find behind them," Fautal said to Pendzez.
OOC: Metarist Rlupa Wearing normal clothing. Inventory: Fireball magic scroll, explosive clay, 5 matchsticks and a roll of string. IC: Before getting some directions to the dig site Metarist had a very hectic morning; 6 am Meta woke up on the floor of his room with the evidence showing he bumped his head on the bench next to his bed he fell and broke his mobile then went unconscious. 6:30 am got his grandpa's old explosive clay then had breakfast, unluckily it had a mild case of food poisoning went to the hospital soon after. 8 am got out of hospital and travelled to machina ruins. "All this bad luck..." Meta said rubbing the black edges of his eyes."... letÂ’s just hope I don't blow up today." he finished then looked up <span style='color:gray'>Ahhh there they are.... wait don't I know that aqua looking person...</span> Metarist thought and remembered he meet him somewhere around when he broke his wings. <span style='color:gray'>I CAN'T BELEAILVE I DIDN'T RECONISE HIM BEFORE!</span> he thought more. "Hello" Metarist said behind the two talking comrades. <span style='color:gray'>Hmm I'm still acting the same even though I surprised myself.</span> OOC: Lol long post. :D
<span style='color:grey'>Ooc: http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=1300Fey'yore Dra'skir</a> & http://shadowlack.com/persona.php?id=1349Tychicus Dra'skir</a> Wearing their usual attire and sunglasses.</span> The sand flared around the dig team as Tychicus landed nearby, Fey running after him. <span style='color:purple'>"So what is up guys?"</span> Tye merely groaned as he unclipped his pack. the bottom of his jacket already covered in white dust. Fey'yore Walked over to the doors after getting a not so merry responce from the workers. He placed his hand against it reading a note stuck to it. ~All attempts to open the doors have failed.~ Fey hummed quietly as he thought about what he could do to open them. Tye pulled out various pieces of crystals tossing them to Fey with a half bored half doubtful look. <span style='color:orange'>"You sure this will work? I mean no ones done this before."</span> Fey'yore just smiled gleefully. <span style='color:purple'>"Yup I did it once. Scared the hell out of that guy over there."</span> He pointed at Meta with a smirk. <span style='color:purple'>"But yes I should be able to activate the doors with these."</span> He waited for the team to agree with his help or at least acknowledge that anything goes to open the door.
Pendzez closed the journal after Fautal came along, explaining the problem with the doors. There was no doubt that there was treasure behind there, but Pendzez only wanted one piece of it. The soul orb of Yu'kade Zazkex, the 10th generation of the Zazkex bloodline. The doors would be easy, but it's what's inside that will be the hard bit. Not just traps, but monsters that were created to protect the tomb of intruders. If the group can get past into the main chamber, then he could obtain his goal and call them off. Looking at the screens, he was wondering about the tapes of the operations done to open the tightly shut doors. "Well, they are sealed with magic, that's why they attempts failed, but I would like to see the tapes of what you tried to do." Soon after, Metarist came along. He was well prepared. Magic scroll, string, clay, and matches. He wasn't planning to break down the door was he? "Hello. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's explosive clay, right?" he said as he pointed to the clay. "The doors remained standing after a TNT and drilling attempts. What makes you think that clay would work? Or that that magic scroll?" Fey and Tye came afterwards. Crystal magick? That won't even break a piece off the doors. He would have to explain. "Sorry to offend you guys, but your ideas won't work." Pendzez took a breath to calm himself. "The doors are binded by a powerful magick. Your magicks won't work against powerful stuff. The levels of magick are divided into six. One is normal magick, two is great magick, three is super magic, four is master magick, five is alpha magick, and six is omega magick. Crystal magick is at least great magic. The doors are binded by master magick." He wasn't sure if being blunt was helping, but honesty was needed. "I know Fey'yore can do astral abilities, the but magick on the door would repel him back into reality. Sorry if you are upset, but I can only open them. The only way they will open is with alpha or omega magick."
OOC: also another problem i wouldn't be on much because my dad took the computer away from me so i'll ask him if i could go on once a week. (he also took the ps2 *crys*) edit: lol srry my dad gave my computer back the day i posted this just because he ran out of room in his office. (but still my ps2!) xD
Fautal was indeed impressed at how much Pendzez knew about magic. It was even more impressive that he knew more about the doors than even he did. Fautal continued to listen to the small lecture given by Pendzez, when he was done Fautal said, "I assume you'd want to see the tapes now." It wasn't a question but a statement so that way they could continue with what they planned to, at least what Pendzez planned to do. Fautal walked over to his field desk and brought out a disk. This disk contained the record of what methods they had used to open the doors. It was documentation to show what methods had already been tried and their overall effects. These tapes were then analyzed thoroughly in order to generate more ideas of how to get through. Mundane means were generally employed first before using magic. Fautal brought the tape over to the screen and put it in. Fautal pressed a few buttons to start them. "These tapes start when we first found the doors. The tape will explain further about what happened," Fautal explained. The tape started playing with the sound of an arden's voice: "Today is the 23rd of Tria and we have found a rather interesting discovery here in the Machina Ruins..." The screen then showed a team uncovering the doors for the first time. The doors were still buried half way. The screen then fades out. When it fades back in it shows the doors fully uncovered and the arden's voice comes again. "Today is the 24th of Tria, we are now attempting to open what appears to be a rather large set of doors. The method we are using is a hydrolic pump." After that some machinery was brought in. It was then secured to the ground and started up. When the thing was running the pump pushed hard on the door. All seemed to go well until the operator had to shut the pump down. The operator was trained to stop the pump if ever he felt the pressure was too much for it to handle. The narrator's voice came back on. "This appears to be too much for the pump we shall try again when we have new ideas." The screen faded out and back in again. In the screen now you could see another machine right up against the doors. "We have now decided to attempt to drill through the doors using a diamond drill head. Today is the 31st of Tria." The drill then started up and slowly moved the head towards the door. It then let out a loud groaning noise and then was forced to stop. "Apparently the drill head fractured. The door is harder than the diamond, further attempts to drill will be canceled." Next in the screen you could see large amounts of wiring going around the framework of the door. "The date is the 41st of Tria. With our other methods useless it has been decided to blast through the doors. As you can see we have set up high-yield explosives around the framework to hopefully shatter it and knock down the door." After that there was a countdown and a siren. When it reached zero the explosives were set off. Large amounts of dust then went through the air. It was several minutes later that the dust cleared. The doors still stood. "Explosives were ineffective. Work on the door will be postponed until another method is devised." With that the film ended and Fautal looked at the others. Waiting for any questions they might have.
OOC: You won't mind if i join? Xukh: T-shirt pure white, White colored shorts that comes just below the knees. White Cloak, Wood staff and dagger. Xukh walked across the fields of destruction. Crossing the lands on foot is tiring and sometimes only gain him pain. Yet he will follow the command. He was giving the order to look after something. To see what is going on with the broken city. From hearing things of people trying to gain access to it most hidden parts seem to disturb his elders. He didn't understand why. Yet he was commanded to go and find out what is going on there.... He still remembers the command... <span style='color:green'>~Xukh. Thank you for coming...~</span> The older Fey indicated to him. Xukh nodded to him. The elder sounded tried. He wondered why, yet from respect. He didn't ask.<span style='color:green'>~Don't speak, I have something for you to do. It may be important, I hope not. I need you to check something for me...~</span> Xukh looked across the ruins, How ever he was lucky, just in time to take notice of the metal bird that landed. The airoplane as they call them. Only acknowledged that something was going over there. So he made his way over there. He slowly made his way over there. At the moment, he didn't care if he was spotted. His goal was clear. Clear as anything else, to discover why, who ever it was, was here. If they are doing something dangerous. Stop them, if possible.
OOC: YAY MY TURN! :D IC: "Hello. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's explosive clay, right?" said the pendragon as he pointed to the clay. "The doors remained standing after a TNT and drilling attempts. What makes you think that clay would work? Or that magic scroll?" "I'll think about that" Metarist replied then Fey and his Brother came "Oh hi, we're just talking about the doors... oh those things" he said looking at the cystals "Sorry to offend you guys, but your ideas won't work." the pendragon took a breath. "The doors are binded by a powerful magick. Your magicks won't work against powerful stuff. The levels of magick are divided into six. One is normal magick, two is great magick, three is super magic, four is master magick, five is alpha magick, and six is omega magick. Crystal magick is at least great magic. The doors are binded by master magick." Metarist took out his journal and wrote whatever the guy said <span style='color:gray'>this'll be very useful in the future</span> he thought "I know Fey'yore can do astral abilities, the but magick on the door would repel him back into reality. Sorry if you are upset, but I can only open them. The only way they will open is with alpha or omega magick." Metarist snaped his pen "you have those magicks?" he asked.
Fey'yore harrumphed then breathed. Tye knew what would happen next. He stood the the side allowing his brother a clear look at the speaker. <span style='color:purple'>"Technically the power of crystal magick is unknown. Though it is or should I say, was used for utilitarian magick. Powering things, allowing one to enter dreams, astral projection, healing and defence. The strength depends on the power of the crystal itself and its user. That and I wasn't going through the door just around it to find it's switch."</span> Fey chuckled slightly at the end. <span style='color:purple'>"They are not offensive items nor are their powers."</span> With that he tossed a deep purple crystal to the ground near his foot, this began to glow and grow suddenly expanding crystalline spears which grew in an angled spiral around him almost like a net or cage. Due to the way they grow it was not round but cuboid. <span style='color:purple'>"See what I mean."</span> They glowed once more the crystal retracting to it's usual size. Tychicus merely laughed. Fey did love to make a show, which was how he got top marks. <span style='color:orange'>"If the doors are strong enough to stop his spirit then nothing could open them."</span> He still laughed. <span style='color:gray'><span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>Ooc:Sorry about the wait was very busy XD</span></span>
OOC: Cathera Randinbor in usual gear, along with a small computer interface. IC: Cathera made it over the hill just in time for Fey's demonstration. He hurried down to the crew assembled. "That might not be nescesary, I know my way around this place and can plug this bad boy in to some of this places more obscure finds. Before using and possibly breaking or banishing a good crystal mage, let me see what I can do to that door. The neurotech center wants very badly to know what's back there." Cathera scanned the crowed for friends, and spotted Fautil. "Hey Fautil, I hope this dig goes better then our last one, these suits are expensive." Cathera simply waited for them to agree to his plan, try one last thing before an all out war was waged on a simple door.
A newcomer along, explaining who she knew ways around the place and how the neurotech center wants to know what's back there. The Neurotech Research Facility? Why did they wanted to know about whatever's behind the door? Well, Pendzez could use the help, but he wasn't going to let the Research Facility take anything from behind the doors. Unless, Yu'kade gives them permission of course. However, he wasn't really concentrating on the group. He looked through the videos again going in slow motion. he was looking for something that was on the door. He was looking for a small groove that was the same shape as his Sol Crest. However, he did see that before the attempts were used to break down the door, he did notice a small force of energy covering the door before it vanished. It wasn't just the door. There was something else that was giving the doors extra strength. There was something behind the doors that was giving off more magickal energy to fortify the doors. Mabye, a Guardian is in there. Pendzez then spotted the groove. He paused the video and voomed in, clearing up the pixels when the image was enlarged. "There it is." Pendzez jumped from his seat at the sight of the groove. "The Sol Crest should be the key then." Pendzez touched his Sol Crest and looked at the group. They might not have known what he's talking about. Pendzez saw it fit to explain. "This is the tomb of my Great-Grandfather, Yu'kade Zazkex. He's the tenth Zazkex Generation. From the first Generation to me, the Sol Crest was something that has been passed down. There was even a saying. The first Zazkex, who I think was Hion, was given the Crest from a God that was the son of the Great Creator. This God said, and I quote, 'This will be his tool. Train him well through soul orbs.' That saying was passed down to my father. He never told me, but I found the Ancestoral Book, which had the saying. I got to the conclusion that when the God said him, he was referring to me. That had me baffled since I don't what I was supposed to be trained for. It's a mystery, but now's not the time."
Fautal was excited now. There was an actual way to get in through that door and Pendzez held that key to get in. Even more interesting was the fact that supposedly the Sol Crest that Pendzez had now was given to the first generation of his family by a god. This facinated him, though he would not examine the artifact unless given the consent of the owner and Fautal did not want to ask at this moment. He turned towards Cathera and chuckled to himself, "I agree with you on that one," Fautal then introduced him to the others, "This is our head of security here on the site, his name is Cathera Randinbor." Fautal looked towards Pendzez, "I'm sure we've had enough talk. Shall we head towards the doors?"
OOC: srry for the wait: home work and camp stuff :D IC: He didn't answer my question! Meta thought, I'm too interested in these soul orbs though for my question to be answered though.Meta turned his head towards the replaying video then to the crest the pendragon owned. A lot of trouble I guess... for one pendragon.Meta frowned at the crest, he knew this guy was tough, tough enough to not run away when this type of trouble came. Looks like a mission on my books. Metarist then straightened his face before anyone noticed.
