Tessera, 81382 Who: Alamu Wearing: Green tank-top and jeans with a green backpack. Alamu walked slowly around the central dome of Aurius, gazing in awe at the ever changing colors around her. The dome was packed with 'dragons of all ages, and she kept bumping into someone or getting in another's way as she tried to take everything in. She'd never been here before; she doubted she'd be here again before someone decided this was insufficient and changed everything. 'Dragons were doing that a lot lately. Frowning thoughtfully, Alamu found a cafe and settled at one of the outside tables, rumaging in the backpack she'd brought with her for her camera.
Who: Averin Wearing: A jet black jacket with a white tank top underneath and black pants with his NH belt on. His wings loose and were folded close to his back, not in their usual spot; wrapped around him like a cape. His pendant around his neck. Averin, this green pendragon that was wearing a jet black jacket with a white tank top underneath and black pants with his NH belt on. His wings loose and were folded close to his back, not in their usual spot; wrapped around him like a cape. The pendant that is around his neck swaged from side to side as he moved around this vast dome city with awe and impressed. He never had been here in his entire life. Seeing crowds of different kinds of pendragon walking around trying to get to one area to another. Averin amber eyes looked around the place, looking for a nice place to get a meal from him being gone. He was considered dead since he disappeared when he was fighting against his brother, but that’s in the past now. Averin headed over to a local café and sat down. The café manager came over and looked at him. “What’ll be sir?" ask the manager. Averin looked up at him. “You have any Sunai Fruit?" asked Averin with a soft, but clear tone. Manager goes into the back to get his order, when the manager came back; he brought his order up. Averin grabbed one of the fruit and took a bite out of it.
Finally digging her old camera out of her bag, Alamu snapped a picture of the little cafe she'd chosen, turning to snap a picture of the bustling street as well. Sitting back down, she flicked through her pictures as the manager came out. <span style='color:orange'>"What'll it be, miss?"</span> He asked politely. She looked up, smiling softly. "You wouldn't happen to have any Sunai Fruit, would you?" He gave her an odd look and turned to get her order. She watched him go, slightly confused by the look. As she started to turn back, she noticed the one other customer at the small cafe. Alamu blinked, rubbing her eyes; she could have sworn that was Averin. But no; Averin used his wings as a cape, and this 'dragon wasn't wearing the armor that Averin always wore. Smiling slightly, she stood up and went to the table, holding her camera. "Excuse me, but you look a lot like a friend of mine that disappeared a while ago. Is it alright if I take your picture?" She asked quietly, half-hoping he wouldn't have heard her silly request. Alamu had refused to believe he was dead, although that was the most likely reason for his disappearance. She hadn't even gotten a picture of him, but maybe a look-alike picture would help a little bit. All she could do was hope.
Averin finished half his bowl of Sunai Fruit, before he asked the manager to get him a drink. His drink slid across the counter towards him; Averin reacted as he stopped it from going any further and picked up to take a sip when he heard someone asking him to take his picture. “Sure I could he—" said Averin with a deep pause when he saw who asked. “Al…Al…Alamu… is that… is that really you?" he asked as he got up and looked at her with his golden amber eyes. When he was gone he forgot the feeling of love and friendship, but all those emotions ran right back in at once; making wonder if this is reality or fantasy.
ooc: sorry. I'm so swamped right now; we're making a movie in class. Who knew it would be so time-consuming? :( Alamu stumbled back a step, shocked to find the love of her life sitting in front of her with an incredulous expression. "Av...Averin?" She dropped her camera, throwing herself toward him blindly. "Averin! I missed you so much! Everyone told me you were dead." She started crying, knowing this was somehow a halucination and she'd wake up in her new apartment crying because he wasn't really there. Sobs wracked her body as she hoped for him to assure her this was no dream.
Averin shocked from seeing her again. When she came towards him, Averin thought this was too good to be true, but his body got out of the chair and moved towards her anyways. Averin hugged Alamu and with surprised that he was still in reality. “Alamu, I missed you as well." he said without catching what she said about everyone presuming he was dead. Averin was sad that he been gone for so long not able to be there for her and was hoping to catch up through those times. “How… How have you been?" asked Averin with fear. He feared that she had fallen in love with someone else while he was missing. He thought it would have deserved him right for not being here for her when she might have needed it.
Alamu held onto him tighter once he hugged her, still believing it was too good to be true. Swallowing thickly, she buried her face in his shoulder, a relieved smile spreading across her face. After a moment, she pulled away, shoving him playfully. "Don't you ever leave like that again! You had me worried sick!" She poked him in the chest, smiling again. "You didn't even say goodbye." At his question, her smile got even wider until it was a full-blown grin and she reached out to take his hand. "I've been doing really well. I got a new job and I moved into an apartment a few weeks ago. The land-lady is really sweet, and rent is cheap. We have lunch together all the time." Alamu smiled, green eyes swirling gently as she studied him. "How have you been? You look...thinner than the last time I saw you. Are you eating enough?" Instantly, she'd started fussing over him again; it's what he got, disappearing on her. It was only fair, after all.
Averin heart raced when she hugged him tightly, still thinking that she missed him more than the world. When she sank into his shoulder, he wrapped his arms around her and cherished the moment with her then he felt her push him away and yelled at him for disappearing and made her worry. “I’m… I’m sorry. I didn’t want to make you cry, but… I was attacked by my brother and he knocked me off the ship that I was on to return to you, my sweet Alamu." he said with tears in his eyes. He looked up at her with waterfall running down from his amber slit eyes and then smiles with a small grin. “Good to hear. I have to see your job and this land lady you mention." He kind of looked off to the side embarrassed to ask her does she still love him. He quickly heard her question and replied. “Um… I’m alright, but tired. Yeah… I haven’t eaten for days, but I don’t have enough to get a full blast meal." he laughed slightly as his stomach growled. He gazed up to the dome and viewed at the beautiful sea above then back at Alamu. “Alamu, could I ask… could I crash at your place for the night? I mean I can pay the rent for myself." he remarked as he scratched the back of his head saying in his mind that was stupid to ask.
Alamu gave Averin a gentle, understanding smile and reached out again, wanting another hug. She paused as he continued speaking before she shook her head in bewilderment and sighed softly. Swooping to pick up the camera, she smiled brightly at him. "Let's go sit outside for a while. It's nice to get some fresh air, even under water." Turning, she lead him out to the table she'd sat at before, slipping her camera back into her bag. As Alamu looked up again, she caught his comment about not eating for a few days. Frowning disapprovingly, she pushed her half-full bowl of Sunai Fruit toward him. "Here, have some of this. It's delicious. And I'll buy lunch, 'kay? You need to eat regularly." She scolded, though she was smiling to show she wasn't actually angry. At Averin's question, she smiled again, shaking her head. "I'd love to let you stay over, but I don't live in Aurius. I came here on vacation. You can stay with me at the hotel, if you'd like." She offered, glancing over the menu as she looked for something good for lunch, completely ignoring his comment about paying rent.
Averin still had tears rolling down his face and looked up at her as she invited him to sit with her. His heart was ready to burst from holding his question back, but was failing to keep hold. As more tears filled his beautiful amber eyes that kept a steady gaze on Alamu, but he managed to pick himself up by his feet and followed her. “You still have a sense that was always higher than mine." replied Averin. He walked right behind her to a teal bench which was in the middle of the dome, where it had the most life. Averin took his seat as he watched Alamu put her camera back into her bag. He was ready to explode if he didn’t ask her this simple question with a complex answer that can affect so much, but was interrupted when she offered her Sunai Fruit and heard her comment. “Alamu, I… Sure. Yes ma’am." said Averin. Looking at her with a pleased look and hugged her. “Thank you, but I won’t stay here either. I’m leaving with you that is, if you don’t mind?" remarked Averin. Averin glanced at her, but all his emotions piled in his all at once. He shook his head trying to get rid of the pressure, but it was overwhelming him. Brushing his hand through his hair, but knew that he wouldn’t be able to hold any longer. “Alamu, are you… are you still going out with me or are you seeing someone else?" he burst into curiosity with his question.
"Oh, yeah. That's fine by me." Alamu smiled brightly at him, looking up for only a moment--and wondering why he looked so upset. Concerned, she put the menu down, opening her mouth to ask the fateful question. She was, needless to say, shocked by his quick outburst and she snapped her jaw shut, looking at him in confusion before his words sank in. Shaking her head and smiling gently at him, she leaned over to press a kiss to his cheek, leaning back to look him in the eye. "Averin, you should know by now I'll always love you, no matter how many times you disappear." A grin spread across her face as she spoke, leaning over to kiss him again before turning back to the menu, shifting her chair closer to his. "Now, what should we have for lunch? It all looks too good for me to decide."
Averin felt her kiss on his cheek then look into his eyes. He saw her green swirly eyes that seemed to memorize him, but he was relieved to hear her reply to his question. His mind soon popped her first question when she thought he was someone else that looked like himself. “Alamu, if you want a picture of me… you can take one or however many you want." He said with a grin on his face. Averin noticed her shifted closer to him to show the menu for lunch and glanced at it for a second leaned over closer to Alamu and whispered into her ear. “I guess we can have the special, if that’s good?" Averin rest his head on Alamu’s shoulder and smiled at her with his pearly white teeth. He was still sad for leaving her and not being here for her when she needed it. He was worried that she might not like him no more, but that changed. His heart was fill hope once again as he picked his head up with tear flowing down his face while his golden eyes gazed at Alamu. “I promise, I won’t leave you again. I love you too much to see your heart break like mine once was." Averin spoke with a soft voice.
Alamu ordered the special for them, setting the menu aside and turning all her attention to Averin before she grinned widely and dug for her camera. She'd just sat back up when he spoke again. Her gaze softened and her own tears rolled down her cheeks as she leaned forward to gaze into his golden eyes. "I love you, you know. With all my heart." Smiling gently, she moved to kiss him, murmuring quietly, "I always will."
Averin smiled as she kissed him and what she said to him. He looked at her with a grin on his face as he leaned back in his chair. “So, How you like the new look?" said Averin with a curious thought. Averin saw the food being set in front of him as his stomach growled from the lack of food. His hunger took over and auto-pilot his body to start eating the food, which impressed him from being extremely good and delicious. He chewed and swallowed the food that was in his mouth as he glances at Alamu.
Alamu paused to consider his question, looking him over thoughtfully. "Hmm...well, it's different." Alamu wasn't entirely sure what to think of his new look, and she found herself staring at him now that he'd drawn her attention to his new look. After a while, she started drifting in her own mind, still studying him with a far-off look in her eyes as she thought of back when they'd been children running around their home town.
Averin looked at her with curiosity. “What? Too much away from me?" replied Averin. He glanced at her with his shiny golden eyes with sad face on how much he missed her and other who cared for him, but yet weren’t here except for the one he loved. Averin finished eating and moves to get closer to Alamu then smiles at her. “You going to take the picture?" he questioned her.
Alamu snapped out of her daydream, blushing furiously. "Right! Picture..." She blinked down at the camera, for a moment wondering how she was supposed to work the thing, before shaking her head. "Focus!" She thought sternly, turning to Averin with a bright smile while trying to hide her blush. "Smile!"
Averin sits up straight and got ready for the picture to be taken. He noticed her blushing furiously before she dived into her bag for her camera. She is as beautiful as I remember. He thought as he smiled at her with a slight blush under his golden eyes. He soon snaps into position to prepare himself for the photograph. When he heard Alamu say “Smile!" Averin quickly shot a big smile at her.
Alamu snapped the picture, grinning as she leaned over to show it to him. "What do you think?" She asked, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye as she took a bite of her own food. "Mmm..." She hummed appreciatively, taking a sip of water as she studied the picture. "Maybe we can get someone to take a picture of us together." She thought idly, smiling.
Averin remained still till she took the picture and then showed it to him. He glanced over it then at her with a small smile. “I think… it’s pretty good." Averin said while he saw her in the corner of his eye when she took a bite out of her meal and hummed appreciatively. His eyes return to looking straight ahead as he took a drink out of his glass of water as his mind wondered about different things. Things from his past and future to be or he was just worried on what’s to come. He shook his head and turned his eyes towards Alamu as he sees her smile and gave a confused look. “What are you thinking about?" he asked in curiosity.
