A Wild Temrin Appears

Hey guys! I've been on Shadowlack for.. 8 years now. :3 I lurked before i actually signed up and started playing, so probably more. 8 official years though :3

Some people might remember me as "Crystal Vixen" or CV. That was the original name i used here before i had any characters of my own. Since then I've had a dozen or so characters here, some stayed, some i got rid of and now, I've only brought a few back. Temrin turned into my "fursona" (yup I'ma furry guys lol) and has been my pen name ever since. She's grown up a lot with me over the years. All my characters are a little part of myself but Temrin is somewhat of my "Inner Self".

Shadowlack was my first real post by post RPG though i did post here and there on other places but only short half assed things. Nothing really serious. Those short spaztastic RP moments you have with friends. I remember my spelling and whatnot being atrocious back then.. I've gotten a bit better but i still suck at it. I love writing but never have enough time to do it. T_T One day i will get back into it. One day. : ) (Once my life gets a bit more stable.)

I found out about Shadowlack/RaL through the admins' (shriker/Iversia/jodie) neopet page way back in the day. i lurked around for a while and after probably about a year or so i decided to join up~ This has been my home ever since really. I may not be as active as I'd like, and I've left a few people hanging RP wise lately (I'm sorry T_T ) but life has been stupidly busy. Once things get on track i should have time to do some more writing hopefully. When that will be i am not sure. We shall see :3

I finished my college diploma for Web Design and Interactive Media about 7 months ago and am currently working as a freelance artist and front end Web Dev for Tanabi.com, which is still pretty much freelance stuff. Work isn't stable but its definitely fun!

Hopefully when i move next, it will be in a place that allows pets. I REALLY want a cat. Had a bad breakup with an ex and even though he promised i could keep the cat, he took that all back and kept her. I miss her a lot and i miss having a cat in the house :/

My hobbies include drawing, reading, coding and video games (currently playing a lot of l4d2, EarthEternal/Planet Forever, and TERA. Not that i really have much time to play them lol.) You can find me on steam under "Temrin." though don't expect me to be on all the time or to play everything XD I'm poor and even steam prices i cannot afford sometimes! So I'm limited on games and limited on time. I also usually prefer to play alone with some things. :) But feel free to ask! ^^

My personal life consists of a complicated relationship but definitely worth it, sleeping, eating, going to furry fandom meetups now and then, and work work work. I am pansexual and technically single but my heart is taken. Life is never meant to be simple, but when i love someone, even if i cannot be with them, i will be supportive of them even if it hurts like a bitch.

I am currently on staff for VancouFur 2013 - Rocks and Rails - Vancouver Furry Convention , i am their networking and social media coordinator and am in charge of 99% of updates that aren't on the main site. I love the job and i like being able to help out the local community. ^^

I played earth eternal back when it was actually run by the company who made it. It was great but they went bankrupt and had to sell it. the next company did didly squat for the game so now its -dead-. Planet Forever is a reborn version of the game from a person who was able to get the files and is hosting a private server of the game. He's fixed more things then the companies could ever fix and has things available to us that were supposed to be available when the companies owned the game but never did. So its really nice :) The community is also great~

I played a demo for torchlight I and it seemed pretty fun :3 yeah, i dont play as many as i'd like to either.. To freakin busy!!! XD

I got this lovely icon from Nekophoenix from DA/FA ^^ She was doing these for a while and we could get whatever flag we wanted put in :D

I'm really glad the guy kept it alive. it was a great community and the game has serious potential! But two companies bombed on it so having one person, show that he can do more then both those companies (well. After the game was released that is. The original company put in all the work to get it that far, and that was a lot of work! but after that. not much was changed for years :/ ) Seeing such drive in people definitely makes me happy :D

Ah me too. Doing the best i can to get things sorted. I know in the new year, some stuff will be sorted and much better for at least some work related stuff. But other then that, man its up in the air XD Oh well. Life will be life. Gotta roll with the punches and do the best you can! ^^

XD :P If/when i have time, perhaps. Though i've had pretty good lessons from a friend who has like -the- longest character profiles here that i've seen :P His descriptive skills are insaaaaane XD
