Mia 23, 81379 FINAL MEMBER OF THE COUNCIL HAS BEEN KILLED Early yesterday morning the final member of Bhim's governmental council died of food poisoning. Doctors theorize that he contracted salmonella while he was out to dinner with his wife the previous night. The restaurant has always had a spotless record of sanitation, having passed all previous health inspections with ease. Despite this, it is currently under investigation and closed until further notice. One doctor who has examined many of the bodies of the deceased council members had this to say. “It is not at all impossible for these souls to have been murdered. Each case can go either way. Specifically to this case however, one of the chefs working at the restaurant could have easily slipped the diseased meat into the dish in an attempt to kill the deceased.” Many residents of Bhim believe that this incident ties in other accidents that have taken the lives of some council members, and forced others to give up their positions and retire. “I don't see how anyone can think this to be an coincidence,” one pendragon commented. “They were clearly all murdered. How likely is it that in such a short time, all the council members have just gone without some conspiracy behind it all?” With no evidence to support this theory, detectives and law enforcement officers are baffled at what course of action to pursue. Though there are no leads, some suspect that a mafia is behind all of this. The Red Feather mafia has grown greatly in power over the last few months under the direction of a newly appointed leader. Massive suspicion has been going their way, but the gang seems to be oblivious of the whole matter. It is still unclear as to who will lead Bhim at this time. It is popular belief that elections for new council members will be held by the remaining former council members in early Dyo. As for possible candidates for the positions, there are very few on the continent qualified... - Ramathian Chronicle Mia 29, 81379 BHIM'S GOVERNMENT HAS GONE THE WAY OF ITS REPUTATION Yesterday the Red Feather Mafia stepped forward and claimed the dominion of Bhim. Their leader, a seasoned female by the name of Finasis Kyjjogseym has claimed herself ruler. All positions of power have been filled by her chosen few. All police and other law enforcement officers have been relieved of duty and have been replaced with officials of the Red Feather Mafia. Why was this not stopped? Finasis is putting into effect a completely radical set of laws that will benefit more than half of the population of Bhim. Her new laws make previously outlawed practices legal. The distribution and consumption of illegal goods such as various drugs and weapons are now encouraged. Considering the main population of the continent, there has been little resistance to her take over. It is thought that such an economic boom will spur into action that Bhim will quickly become one of the richest continents of Ramath-Lehi. One pendragon commented, “She is a genius! She knows that such acts cannot be stopped and has decided to harness their potential!” Though the credibility of the commenter cannot be confirmed, his thoughts are widely duplicated by merchants all over Bhim. Finasis has also declared that this new form of government is here to stay and that all who appose will be locked up for the crime of treason. Army and law enforcement teams of Red Feather members have been put in place to uphold these laws. There does not seem to be an end to her tyranny unless some brave souls will take it upon themselves to put her rein to a halt. - Ramathian Chronicle

OOC - Plot Limitations Since Finasis’ rule is only temporary, members are encouraged to try and oust her from power, though any such event is not very soon in the coming. Players can rp as pendragons benefiting from her rule, pendragons against it, members of the Red Feather Mafia, spies within the Red Feather mafia (please ok this with me before rping), and anything else you can think of. (Players cannot play characters that are high ranking in the Red Feather Mafia unless they have my permission. This is to prevent powerplay and any high-ranking spies; that would make it too easy. ^^) Also please note that if your character decides to stand up against the new laws and go on a drug bust or something of the like with a few of their comrades, Finasis can have your character thrown in jail, though such would only happen if requested or if you and your comrades have been doing this unhindered for a while (3 threads or so). All prisoners will be promptly released at the end of Finasis' rule. Same goes for matters applying to spies.

Mia 48, 81379 AJITA --- Early this morning stomach churning screams were heard from the Grader’s private chambers on Ajita. Council Security and the Grader’s own personal guards rushed upon the scene. Upon forced entry they found not the Arch Magos and Magosai pair, but the solo form of the Arch Magos, Zamfir Grader. His head was cradled in his hands, muscles tense, and was in obvious pain as his cries reverberated throughout the chamber. His personal aide was immediately called to the scene but could not calm the Magos into a more rational mind-set. Koani Grader, the Magos and Magosai’s eldest daughter, arrived on the scene shortly after although no one had sent for her. “I know what happened,” Koani replied curtly when she was questioned about her sudden appearance. Not bothering to answer the barrage of questions that flowed after that remark, she waded through the growing crowd and settled down by her father’s side, trying her best to console him. After much coaxing, sedatives, and other medical measures, they were finally able to get Magos Zamfir to explain what had happened in his own words. Apparently while Arch Magosai Karryasa Grader was on location (what location Magos Zamfir was negligent to say), she fell victim to a strange and violent breed of magika. Something within her, or something by her reacted violently to it. As a result, a dark portal to The Nothing was opened. Two clawed arms reached out of the portal and put a stranglehold on the Magosai. At this point in time, the Magos had been alerted. His telepathic link with his life-mate having been so strong that he virtually was “there” when Karryasa was being hauled toward oblivion. Magos Zamfir tried to grab onto her mentally, but “It happened too quickly”. The end result was a “tearing”. Karryasa’s essence was torn in two and her physical self was devoured by The Nothing. Unable to comment any further, the Magos Zamfir was removed from the scene. He was moved to a small, private care facility and is being treated for trauma and several self-inflicted wounds. Koani stayed behind to tie up loose ends with the press. An emergency Council meeting has been called…

A note to all residents of Swaraj A tropical storm has rolled off the ocean from the West and is charted to hit Swaraj upon the morning of the date Tria 3rd, 81378. The storm has taken the shape of a hurricane, though it is expected to decrease in intensity quickly once it hits the coast. So far there have been no injuries or casualties during the storm's time at sea; all fishing boats have arrived safely at their ports. It is presumed that once the storm system hits the coast, warmer air currents will create higher winds, but the system is expected to blow itself out before damage occurs. If you are a resident of Swaraj, especially the Western areas of the continent, we reccomend you stay in an enclosed space as far from the coast as possible. You can expect very high wind speeds, one to five inches of rain, and possible electric storms during its passing. If you live on the coast, we suggest you stay in a secure, sheltered building until the storm has blown by. If there are any signs of high winds or flooding, please try to remain calm and head towards the mainland before the conditions reach a critical level. The storm will, at the speed it is travelling, be over Swaraj in about two to three days.
